hey guys, since my ps4 is collecting dust, I want to go back to CFW and playing newest exclusives, is there any safe way to do it? is it true that sony still could detect it was CFW?

Just format it and install the latest firmware..

ok, has there been any report of users banned after formatting and updating their console to the latest firmware? just want to be extra cautious here!

No reports after formatting and updating (or using recovery update pup).

Also very few (if any) reports of just updating without formatting to be honest.

To be safe I would recommend full format, just in case.
