When I first used RetroArch on Wii U, I had a ton of problems with it. The system kept locking up constantly, and the console would instantly shut off while playing a game (~10 Minutes in).
Using RetroArch on Windows & Android is an absolute miracle, and I've become more familiar with its program overtime.
I want to try once more to use RetroArch on Wii U, but I must know a few things first:
I'm hoping that my Wii U has a few good years left in it, so any feedback would be appreciated.

- Does the console still shut down instantly at random times even when playing a game?
- Are shaders supported?
- Is CBHC needed or recommended?
- How well does RetroArch work on Wii U in its current state?
