Can not play my switch online so was hoping to get my online fix with the wii u?
Is it still active though? I love splatoon and possibly mario kart but its splatoon i miss, is this still active does anyone know to make it worth paying for the online service?
thanks

People also still play Smash Bros.
Tournament and video uploads have been disabled a long time ago. The weekly pie charts ended last month (but it's not a big deal).
Friendly and random matches work as always but getting a random 2on2 going does take a little more time now.

Unfortunately, the CoD crowd almost exclusively plays TDM due to a low player count. The series on Wii/Wii U should have had a compulsory change of game modes like in Splatoon (only quicker: TDM, then DOM, then S&D etc).

Personally, I've only ever played online for 3 games: MK8, Splatoon, and Smash 4. I'd say Mario Kart was easily the best experience of the three, mostly because the game itself is the best of the three and I never felt like I was at a horrible disadvantage based on the room. On Splatoon and especially Smash you'll get killed if you're as good/bad as me, most people still playing are pretty hardcore. Connection was pretty strong for all 3 as well but Splatoon lobbies take like 5-10 minutes for a 2 minute match unless you play when Japan is awake.

I wish MH3U was still active, there's so much online co-op content to be had :(
