Yoshi's Crafted World release date revealed

Fans of arts, crafts, and Yoshis will be delighted to know that Nintendo has revealed the launch date for the upcoming platformer, Yoshi's Crafted World. The latest Yoshi outing is slated to release on March 29th. There's also a new trailer to check out, which shows a group of Yoshi’s who must go on an adventure to defeat Baby Bowser and Kamek. New to this game is the ability to play a level backwards, letting you experience the stage from a completely new angle. Yoshi's Crafted World was initially revealed as a Nintendo Switch exclusive during E3 2017, with a 2018 release date which was later delayed to the date that we now know.

March 29th, for anyone wondering why Chary trolled us in the OP to force us to watch the video.
Not sure if your post is serious or not, but when did she ever troll anyone in the OP?
The release date's been clearly visible in the 2nd sentence of the paragraph below the video ever since it was posted.

I don‘t like this art of the game. If it had some graphics from the yoshis island on the snes (with modern mechanics), it would be a „must buy“ title (just sayin‘)

I can't wait for springtime this year to finally pick this up i hope they give us a more specific date in the near future but all is well.

As far as the game goes i found the last yoshi too difficult to finish the final boss i can't get by. Im still a yoshis story speedrunner. Actually the only one in existence and i don't even play the game that fast or often. Either way I'm eager to play this new game im intrigued as to kamek and bowsers jr relationship they've always hinted at a match up and it finally happened although i don't know if they will be able to be a antagonist capable of carrying their portion of the game. Kameks character had been stale and repetitive in recent games i think with a little more fleshing out of his roots is necessary in this game because his magic it oddly shaped.

Keep it the same level as Yoshi's Island, not the overly saccharine Story, it was insulting in some ways.
Yoshi's island is an amazing game, easily one of my favorites, but that's also a super Mario world game(some levels are a little hard), with Yoshi games they plan for younger kids even not to have too hard of a time.

I just hope that people who aren't the target audience won't complain that the game is too eas...

Damn. Too late. :(

Jezus, gbatemp: never seen a five to seven year old play a platformer? Give them titles like Donkey Kong country or even a Mario platformer, and they struggle to the point where they become frustrated and don't want to keep playing. Games like this are meant to let them explore possibilities without punishing them for not having fine hand-eye co-ordination yet.

Umm, Yoshi Story's music was a bunch of yoshi singing horribly out of tune.
Wasn't that only the song that played when you beat a level, and maaaybe the level select? The vast majority of the game had normal music with no singing Yoshis.

There's always that one... lol!

Anyway, Ever since I got burned by Yoshi's Story on the N64, I have not been interested in any Yoshi game :( Loved the SNES game and the earlier puzzle games and the on-rails shooter were fun too...

I’m not quite sure when the Yoshi games got the designation of “babby gaem”, but I miss the days of Yoshi’s Island SNES. Even Yoshi’s Story made an attempt to be unique. After that, I guess Nintendo decided to use the series as a jumping point for smaller children to learn?

I wouldn’t have issue with it if they didn’t use a series that initially started with one of the best platforming games of all time. Yoshi’s Island was an amazing game when I was 6, and it’s an amazing game when I’m 20. That’s called good game design. Previous attempts have been devoid of any form of challenge, and thus aren’t really interesting to anyone who doesn’t want to have their hands held. If they still developed interesting titles within the Yoshi’s Island series, I would be more than willing to accept games based at a younger demographic.

I also don't think that game is fun either, weather it has yoshi characters or some anime, pixie fairies from panel de pon, the game isn't fun or engaging. :ninja:
Oh dear... only child? Parents didn't/don't play games? The game is good enough vs CPU, but vs similarly skilled family/friends it's still immense after 20-odd years: imo still the greatest mp Tetris-like ever made.
(Although it's even better as Panel De Pon, and arguably better still on the Gamecube)
..And how dare anyone diss Yoshi's Island SNES?! Best platformer ever outside Mario World/3, and baby Mario's crying just made you want to rescue him quicker!

All Yoshi platformers since the SNES, with the exception of a decent DS Island, have been rather cack though, so I'm not too interested in this one.. Woolly World was OK, but only became fun from about world 3, and this wasn't just down to the difficulty either: the level layouts, backgrounds etc only got interesting then ...and by that point I'd got a bit bored of the game already. I suspect the same might happen here too...

Well it certainly was unique, and I could've even stomached that Tellytubbies theme tune thing they had going on if the game ended up anything like what they were initially promising: Link. I'm unfortunately that old that I remember seeing those first screenshots in a games mag and thus foaming at the mouth for the game: check the middle batch of screenies where Yoshi must have been shrunken down/giant shy guy... it looked awesome, but instead we ended up with whatever the hell Story was, bleh!

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
