i mean https://sce.party/ is the closed thing we have which gives that information. but if you follow the devs on twitter and know people around the scene you get that information.

thats how i got my PS4 to be on the right hackable firmware, in fact i was on bit lower so all i had to do was update to the right one.

I believe there is an exploit they have been using on multiple firmwares to be able to dump the kernel & then they start looking for exploits that Sony have fixed in the next firmware.

So there is often an exploit pretty much straight away, but there is no way that is going to get released. If they did, then we'd probably be waiting even longer between releases.

It is likely they will look for fixed exploits in 6.0 before releasing one for 5.50 & that obviously can't happen until 6.0 has been released.

Well I'll be joining the 5.05 wagon soon. Tho still hoping for any news on 5.55 since my pro is on 5.50, all this rumor hype made me just buy another ps4 which I swore to never do.

There are rumours on the internet saying that the jailbreak is coming out 27th August, it's 27th August and the jailbreak isn't out. On trustable sources it says it's coming when 6.00 gets released.
