@MatinatorX I would love a PM please as soon as you have some to spare with all these orders. I've been a lurker forever (since early Wii hacking days) and never really posted so I can't PM. This project finally got me to post.
For those who are intrested in buying his product need to buy it via the link OP will provide in the Trading Area. We got rules for this so he can't simply post it here because it would be chaos.
Rules aren't always fair. You read them when you signed up didn't you? What they must then do is be just part of the community. It isn't very hard to reach the minimum to get in to it.So u say to avoid chaos he have to open a new thread, in which new members dont have access, and put that link there? Sry but thats totally bullshit, what do u think will happen in this thread if the newbies realise they dont have the permission to get in there? Lol also thats totally unfair
Advertising & Requests
Members are not allowed to create topics or posts intended only to promote or advertise their own or any website(s) without staff permission. If permission is given members are required to provide the name of the staff member who allowed the advert in their post.
As long as the advert is non-obtrusive and does not contain links to warez of any kind, members may link to their own website, forum, or venture in their signature and profile ONLY.
Begging in the forums for anything is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to: asking users to visit a website for the member to gain points/etc, begging to become a staff member, torrent invite, translation, and dump requests, and especially pyramid schemes; where you are asking members to help you out by registering places, visiting certain websites, etc.
Are PMs ok? Unless there are stupid word game threads in general I'm not breaking my noob seal any time soon. For those who are intrested in buying his product need to buy it via the link OP will provide in the Trading Area. I would say no. Hench the link is better in the signature if so.Are PMs ok? Unless there are stupid word game threads in general I'm not breaking my noob seal any time soon.
I dont see said link. Unless it has not been posted yetFor those who are intrested in buying his product need to buy it via the link OP will provide in the Trading Area. We got rules for this so he can't simply post it here because it would be chaos.
As far as I know, they aren't being sold yet. Since the project isn't complete.I dont see said link. Unless it has not been posted yet
Correct, you can find the estimated timeline in detail reading through that thread, but the summary is that the prototype should be completed tomorrow night, with tester units going out Friday and a batch of 100 going out around a week after. Backorders will be turned on after those 100 sell out so I can gauge how big to make the next batch, which will take another week to a month to get ready depending on the number. I'll probably put out little batches of 100 while those are being prepped as a large order will likely have me go the PCBA route for the bulk of them.As far as I know, they aren't being sold yet. Since the project isn't complete.
Correct, that should be fine. If no other mod objects since it's not a dedicated post anymore. It's in your signature. If you want a dedicated post (something I recommend) it's in the Trading Area it goes!@linuxares, it was my understanding that links in my signature still had to point to somewhere on these forums, for example the thread I'll make in the sales section. Is that the case or am I able to put the tindie link in my signature?
Also, while I appreciate the support from everyone, please don't make the job of the moderators any more difficult than it already is. They have been very helpful behind the scenes and deserve your cooperation.
I'll catch up on PM's once I get home from work today. Thanks everyone!
