Background Sound?

I usually browse the forums using my android phone (google pixel) using chrome. But whenever I have the page open or just have the tab open on my browser my sounds on my phone lower as if there is a active sound/notification comming through. Essentially lowering my music or phone calls/notifications.

Im on Android 9 using the latest Chrome.

I can most likely provide a video if i have to. id just need to find a seperate camera.

does this happen on every page or only on specific pages?

Yes everything, I think it's the ads causing it

there shouldn't be any audio coming out of ads, could you take a screen cap of the ads you're getting when this happens ?
I can ask our supplier to see if they have any info...

Will it's every ad on every page, not sure which is causing it specifically but sure. When I get back from my doctor's appointment I'll try to grab a video.

Those kinds of invasive ads have also shown up on my phone as well, although I haven't experienced any sound from them just yet.

I've experienced this issue on my phone as well, specifically when opening the profile tab with XP bar loading.

It's strange tough, no sound comes from the pages, just causes my audio on everything else to dim/quiet down

Tried with Firefox and it doesn't seem to be doing it. :/ But it's so slow compared to Chrome. If there's no solution I'll have to use Firefox instead or even edge of it continues

More testing done, seems edge just completely stops my music, I refreshed a page and for a split second audio outputs from all pages.

I have disabled ads for your account temporarily (by upgrading you to a patreon backer-level account)
are you still getting the issue on chrome or has it stopped?
if you arent getting the issue anymore then it must be related to ads. If you are still getting the issue then it must be something else.

Seems that the issue is fixed without ads.

Noticed that the opera browser blocked the ads as well.

:/ You can put me back as a regular member now. Seeing as this is a chrome/Android issue.

I'll just have to live with the music being low on and off.
