Yeah, it is in the traditional scientific high school (I know it sounds strange cause our main subject is maths)

That's cool! Here you generally have a choice of German, French or Spanish. Only some schools have Latin. Most Catholic schools have Latin though.

You have to take at least 3 years of a language in many highschools here.

Nice to know! Anyway, here in the scientific highschool we just study Italian, English and Latin, while in the linguistic highschool they study Italian, English, Latin, French and German or Spanish, and that's impressive! In classical highschool they study Italian, English, Latin and ancient Greek.
I must point out that in neither of these schools Latin is studied as an actual language, we don't speak latin, we just translate some texts and study literature.

I notice most in America have a choice of German, French, or Spanish. In my state teaching, French, Spanish, and Portuguese (Portugal.. Not brazil)
