Was messing around with psnpatch, booted (from my understanding) in OFW, and wanted to sign in to create a psn account. I could not sign in because i did not have the latest firmware it said. So i thought it was a good idea to install the official 4.82 threw usb drive. After that my system never got back in CFW, messed it up it seems.

Now, my question is , do i need to flash it with the hex file again? or can i just run the CFW ps3updat.pup threw recovery mode? (or whatever it is called, the menu you get when holding down power)

....Thanks again for anyone hwo can clearify this to me :/

Yes and i do feel stupid :P

If you flashed official 4.82, yes you're on official 4.82...

If you 're talking about the "disable syscalls" feature, it blocks most CFW features (like changing the currently mounted iso) to make the console work more like OFW, but it's not a removal of CFW (it will return to full CFW if you turn it off... of course if you didn't actually flash it back to stock afterwards :) )

You will likely need to run the exploit again, yep (if you want to be sure, since after all it's your console and your brick risk, feel free to try installing CFW via recovery - at worst it will be rejected)

You can't install a cfw pup on ofw without the exploit being run first. This is some very common knowledge.
