Is there a foolproof, noob friendly PS3 Backup guide out there? I have Webman and Ferrox and Rebug but I can't figure out how to install PS3 games, PSP games, PS2 games, or PS1 games for the life of me

What if you're installing games from a flash drive. My physical backups work

FTP PS2 ISOs into the PS2ISO folder
FTP PS3ISOs into the PS3ISO folder
FTP PS3 Game/Update folder dumps into the GAMES folder.

Or for flash drives use Multiman to copy them onto the respective folders.

For that last part "FTP PS3 Game/Update folder dumps into the GAMES folder." does that work for .pkg files? and can I make a PS1ISO folder?

Install pkgs from the xmb using package installer. Haven't used PS1 backups yet, so folder might be called PSXISO or PS1ISO, not sure. Think the folders are created automatically when you install Multiman.

Whenever I install a package it wants me to sign in to PSN and verify the app

Folder's actually called PSXISO

You need the .rap/.rif files (aka .pkg fix) of the games and ReActPSN

Haven't used it yet, but think you have to use reactPSN to install the license file you backed up previously.
That might be it. I'll give it a shot and let you know how it goes. Thanks!

Are those files available with the .pkg or is that a separate download?

Depends on the game. If using psnstuff downloader you can create your own. There's plenty of sites that you can download pkg games already with the crack .pkg. some games c00 games you can create your .edat and simply place that onto your internal hdd in the correct place for games to run. Check psnstuff then you'll see a load of games under this section. There's loads of info online about all this. Or just use reactpsn

PSNStuff looks perfect. But how do I install .rap files?
