Hello Everyone,
After years and years of scrolling trough the gbatemp forums, its about time to introduce myself with my first post.
I am a nearly 40 year old Dutch physics test engineer, with a small collection of consoles and handhelds.
My first console ever was the Atari Jaguar, which I have (regretfully) sold to my uncle after getting a PS2. I have asked him for it, but he has no clue where it went, perhaps some day..
My first "modded"console was the PS2, after owning the it for a while, I bought the swapmagic disc and tool to play ("legally owned backup") copies of my games, and shortly after that I had a service install a modchip to make things easier. Oh man, the amount of "backups" I used to burn and collect...
The first console I have modded myself was the Wii: My parents had a Wii (whose didnt?) and with the help of a friend of mine I managed to soft-mod it using some tutorials.
During my time at different universities I have started a small collection of consoles and handhelds, some of which I managed to "mod":
- NES (stock)
- SNES (stock)
- N64 (stock, with cheap flashcart)
- Gamecube (stock)
- Wii (cfw)
- WiiU (haxci>mocha+isfs)
- Switch(unpatched - RCM)
- Switch OLED (stock)
- Switch 2 (stock)
- GB (stock)
- GBASP (stock)
- DSi (R4i)
- 3DSXL (cfw)
- n3DS (cfw)
- PSX (stock)
- PS2phat (HDD+FMCB)
- PS2slim (MS4IO+fmcb)
- PS3(cfw)
- PSP-slim (cfw)
- XBOX (stock)
- X360 (stock)
and for retro emulation:
- Miyoo mini plus
- RG35XX-H
I must confess I might have spend more time modding and maintaining a digital library of games than playing the actual games themselves, and almost every time, I have gotten my info from this place right here, where I now -finally will submit my first post.
So, that is my gaming/modding journey..
Nice to meet you.
Cheers!
