I'm gonna get a hammering for mentioning this but could they of not made a Switch version as well? ok its not going to be as good as the X1 or PS4 but surely they could of made a toned down version. They made a silly PC port so why not too? that would of been so cool on the Switch, handheld and all that.. I loved The Evil Within on the Xbox360 I thought it was one of the best horror franchises since the Silent Hill days and they have been milked those too death so something new in that era was nice to play!

Just finished EW1 and I'm sooo relieved that its sequel is not in first-person view... (it could have been an obligatory trend after PT and RE7).
Running away from Laura and still be able to see her approaching was a blast !

Their target audience mostly don't own Switch so it kind of big risk to go through that much trouble. Plus, game like this play better on big screen instead of handheld.

One, is Shinji Mikami working on this?
And two, are they using a new engine?

The first game was a case of being almost great.
It had some flaws that brought it down, but the most enjoyable parts of the game were worth playing.
It they use a new engine, a lot of the flaws from the past game might be avoided.
