Hi all,

Switched from gateway to b9s yesterday. AFAIK, there is no trace of gateway on my system @ this point.

I've seen a guide on how to use b9s + gateway on <=11.2 firmware, but I'm really only interested in the blue card's ability to play DS backups.

Is there any way I can use my gateway blue card for this purpose? Or is my only choice buying an R4i?

On an 11.4 O3DS XL using b9s/Luma3DS

hmm, well I extracted the blue card folder from Gateway version 3.7.2 to the sd card,
put the sd card into the GW blue card,
and followed the "DSi/DS functionality is broken" troubleshooting guide on 3ds.guide, but it's still not working.

When I had gateway, the blue card was working, but now I have no indication that the 3DS is even recognizing the card.

Any tips?

your blue card should work right off the bat on b9s+luma did you mess with any of the settings in the blue card? are you trying to launch it the Gateway cfw or from Luma cfw?

I'm trying to launch it on luma on sysnand. I don't have gateway or emunand on the system.

I don't think I messed with any of the blue card settings. I formatted an SD card, put the files from "Blue card (R4i)" in the Gateway 3.7.2 zip on it, and put some games on it.

Use this, it should work if you boot blue card with this

That gives me the message "An error has occurred... etc... refer to the Operations Manual for details."

Unfortunately I get the same message whether the blue card is plugged in or not, so I still don't know if it's being recognized at all.

Yeah, just did it again as a matter of fact, just in case the cluster size mattered.

Now both my internal SD and blue card SD have the same cluster size but it's still not working.

:/ damn have you considered using a wood kernel for your blue card that's what I have on mine and it runs great and I could add cheats to the games and other emulators on it

I don't even know where the link for that is I'll just grab all the files in mine zip it and send it to you
give me a few minutes to get everything ready..

edit sorry it's taking forever I'm uploading through Mega
edit: ok link sent so just grab all the content in wood folder and put those files on the root of you SD card that you are using in your Gateway blue card make sure there no other files in the SD card

to add DS roms put the in the games folder
