I'm having an issue. I had installed a9lh on a friends n3dsxl and he formatted it
Or something happened. All his stuff disappeared. He had I think a bootleg sd card. Had him buy a new real card. So I put in old card and it still had all the files on it so idk what happened. I thought he said he formatted it through 3ds
Anyway I could access hg9 with old card but would give me error when tried to dump h&s app. Cause was gonna try and re install FBI

So now I'm working on the new sd card. Copied all the files over from old sd card and still couldn't dump h&s app through hg9 but I already had a dump of it so I proceeded to injected FBI which worked
When I try to install FBI CIA it says failed to install cia file. Result code 0xD8E0806A
Desc: Cert signature or hash check failed (106)


All the games and apps that he had b4 the issue are listed in the titles on FBI main menu but none are on home menu
Any help is appreciated. Don't care if have to start over. Just want to beable to put FBI on and ciangel and freeshop
If I can recover and have all the games back that would be great too
And once that's sorted move up to boot9strap

DSTwo+ .3DS is just a bad clone of Gateway. Don't even attempt to use it. Pretty sure you'll end up bricking if you do attempt it.

If he formatted his 3DS that broke the link with the Nintendo 3DS folder. If he doesn't have a backup of his pre-format NAND then delete that folder as it won't do you any good. Not sure why installing FBI.cia doesn't work. It's not required, you can keep using the one in H&S. Maybe it was just corrupted, try downloading it again.

freeShop allows you to download games off Nintendo CDN. If you want to play translation, undubs, etc., you can use FBI to install the CIA. It's in the Guide. DO NOT put the launcher.dat on your DSTwo+.

I'm having an issue with NTR CTR 3.5.

After I play a game with a NTR plugin loaded, the next game will always freeze on the loading screen.

I want to make sure if it's just me, or does everyone have this issue? Is there any fix for it?

The only workaround I could find is to reboot the 3DS and run NTR CFW again whenever I want to play a different game, but it's still a pain to do so and not really a solution.

Can someone explain NTR to me? i followed 3ds.guide and thought i was done. but then i saw these ntr apps. i got two the "NTR CFW" and the "nter bootmode " or whatever? can anyone explain why i would need those?

I made a thread for this and tried to look for answers but I never got any. If you look at the following images (inside the links) the text are unreadable or
isn't there at all. While not all games are not like this for me, it's still pretty irritating and might happen on future games?

The games are Rune Factory 4 and Super Smash Bros. This also happened to some sports in Mario Superstars such as Tennis and Golf. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks in advance.

First of all, thank you for the reply !When i'm trying to use the Homebrew method for Boot9Strap Udsploit dont patch the kernel, which prevents me from using safehax.

I'm afraid of bricking my o3ds by updating it to the latest version 11.4.0-37u, and I do not know if I do it by the system's updater or how I'm supposed to do with luma or anything alike (I'm new to the cfw scene, I'm almost clueless)

Update Luma3DS to 7.0.5 and update using System Settings.
