Should I just wipe my system before setting up homebrew stuffs, can nintendo detect my system using softmods?

Nintendo can't detect anything unless you cheat online or play games online before release. There's no need to format.

Yes. All the modifications it does are reset on reboot.

I found my own answer I had to use the complete emunand (format) to get everything to show up and work. My 64gb SD is now good to go with everything showing up now.

Okay. Pardon my stupidity, I am super duper confused ._.

I am trying to download this. Unfortunately I have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to be doing. I have homebrew on my 3DS, with homebrew FBI, but I can only install legit CIAs with it (and what I'm trying to download isnt a legit CIA, obviously). So, what I'm confused about is how to install FBI that allows me to install unsigned CIAs. I know that I *probably* need to install a CFW in order to get FBI and then BootNTR. But i don't know how.

I have New 3DSxl currently running 11.2.0 (but I can abviously update if necessary). I'm looking for a tutorial that will walk me through everything - how to install CFW and then FBI. If any other information is needed please tell me.

You'd most likely need to reinstall a few cias and rehack it

Yes. If you don't hack the new console, pirated and unofficial stuff will not work.

You should always hack first, then system transfer.
Edit: Of course with something like DSiWareHax, you hack as you transfer.

Yep you will just need to reinstall the tickets. You should back up the saves with JKSM first as well, because if you end up needing to reinstall the game that will delete the save file.

What did you get up to? If you installed b9s make sure you have a firm file on the root of your SD card. If the blue power light goes on then off, you are definitely not bricked. If it stays on, you may have problems but not absolutely for sure.
