Hardware Bestbuy.ca has Pro Controller back in stock online and stores, but not for long!

The Switch Pro Controller is overhyped. Yes, it's a fantastic controller but for the current price that it's going it's just not worth it when the Joy-Cons are practically the same, there is one advantage the SPC has over the JC -- a real d-pad. Give it time and retailers will knock $5-10 or more off it.

I bought the Pro Controller at launch because I thought the Joy-Cons wouldn't be comfortable but I found that to be incorrect.

LOL I'm actually seeing them disappear from in-store and online, in real time. Anyone want a piece of this action?

100 Quatloos they'll be gone in one hour.

Oh I see what they are doing, they are pulling them from stores and adding them to the online only inventory... There was just 9 left now it back up to 12 and the stores are gone.

Think @Mr. Wizard was hoping the GBATemp community would be as excited about it as he was. :P
Ya well I haven't seen anything in stock since launch day here lol. I had a hell of a time just getting an extra set of blue joycons couple weeks ago. Luckily everything else I needed I purchased at launch.

I guess I was a little excited, not for me but my fellow canucks in need...

problem is joycons are just to mediocre and mostly crap. nintendo just had to ride the gimmick train and try to do 2 in 1 controller. because of this joycons have design issues, they are also way 2 small.

not a big deal if you're a kid or got midget hands. med-large sized hands will have a hard time using joycons. pro controller has better button placement and fits far better for bigger hands.

I actually get tired of t-rexing the pro controller after a while and sometimes switch to joycons in each hand.

My main play style is separated joycon. Unfortunately that doesn't work very well when parts of BOTW require motion, and i have to stay perfectly still when shooting an arrow because I can't seem to find a way to disable motion control for aiming, if there even is a way.

I don't use motion control for aiming, turned if off in options.

As much as I like the look and feel of this controller I only see Splatoon really using all of its features to its advantage. I hope I can be proven wrong, otherwise this makes for a kickass PC controller too.
