WAMP is simply Apache + MySQL + some other things packaged together as a Windows EX installer. That's it.

building for 5.5.0 and running on a US console doesn't seem to work (hangs at video player). if I replace code550.bin with a different one, it works, so it shouldn't be my setup. is anyone else having this issue?

So while most of you guys were focusing on Loadiine support for 5.4, I decided to write a little program to test some of the Wii U gamepad's functions. It's a bit similar to Diagnos3 for the 3DS!

It worked for me! I just cleaned the code to respect my directory structure. Awesome work BTW, many thanks! Do you know where I can get the pong source code? I can find it anymore :(

It's in the libwiiu examples.

Can this be compiled as an elf? Or is there a similar program that works with the homebrew launcher?
I have not been in the Wii U scene for a long time now, but I believe the code would need a complete re-write, or just lots of major tweaks, to be able to compile and work as an ELF. That's all I know from the last time I touched on Wii U homebrew at least... (which was in late 2015/early 2016, when Wii U homebrew was still in its infancy)

Have you checked the site's wiki page for Wii U homebrew to see if there is a similar program compiled as an ELF?

Thanks for the reply, appreciated! I can't seem to see an alternative unfortunately. Have bought a job lot of gamepads and wanted to test all the buttons worked properly, particularly if the stick axes were doing strange things. Would love HBL compatible one.

Have resorted to using BOTW as can quickly check all the buttons that you can with this :)

It does a clicking sound and Windows doesn't recognize it
  • mthrnite @ mthrnite:
clicking = bad, i'd still try it on a linux box or a mac, out of desperation
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Do you recommend any way to back up?
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
I will keep trying, but that clicking sound seems like the moving parts are stuck or something
  • mthrnite @ mthrnite:
i use a mac, so I just leave time machine running, not real sure how to back up on a windows box

I had a weird thought, Sega with the Saturn it was a train wreck a pile of chips, but it does kind of fit the design philosophy of Sega at the time.... The Genesis/Sega CD/32X machine was probably loads of fun to program for

Damn, the new COD coming soon is 310gb on series s/x

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, I bet a good chunk of the space games have is due to unused content

310GBs lol ISPs hate this one trick
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I think you only get like 425gb on a series s hard drive, so you get 1, 2 next gen games max
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, so you need to have another series s if you wanna play more games?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Nuh you buy extra HD n add to it, but not cheap
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
