Nope. You need to legitimately own and install a DS game, no exceptions.

Although you can use Mocha CFW without the need for Haxchi if you are just completely unable to purchase a DS game.

Well as haxchi uses an exploit in ds games that should tell you every thing you need to know.

What you simply slap mocha onto your sd card load homebrew launcher select mocha no ds game requires at all. And if you use the loadiine.ovh site to load your homebrew you can select mocha to boot without going into the homebrew launcher

Ah gotcha. My fault here for not saying before. I don't want to use the website to get into hbl.but there's no other way. Problem is why I don't want to use eshop to buy a game is not because of the money. Its because all of a sudden I purchase a game that is used to exploit the wiiu even more and you think Nintendo don't know this. Cmon. I don't want them having any if my payment details

Nintendo don't know what you're using the game for. Lots of people have bought DS titles from the eShop and just played them.

Exactly thay have zero way of knowing if you are playing the ds games or using them for haxchi and they don't care or they would have removed all ds games from the eshop by now if they did

Do you use the Brazilian method ? Any good? Or should I take DS route

The 'Brazilian Method' refers to a method you can use to install Wii U games via wupinstaller to either the internal storage or an external USB drive and then play them, it has nothing to do with Haxchi.

And you can't use this to install a DS game and use it for Haxchi as the game needs to be a legitimate copy.

What are you using the self hosting for at the moment? If it is loadiine, I would highly recommend ditching it in favour of "the brazilian method". Online play is available this way.

I'm pretty sure you can autoboot into the Hombrew Launcher via Coldboot Haxchi.

If you don't want them 'taking your information' or something like that, get an eshop giftcard.

You use the WUP Installer method (formally called Braziliam method) with every CFW environment. If you install Mocha, you still need to use WUP Installer method for installing games to sysnand or usb

It's definitely worth the $10 max it costs for the DS game. You never have to open the internet browser to launch an exploit ever again. Also, if the internet is ever down, and you can't self-host, you can still launch any exploit having Haxchi installed. Buying a DS game was the best money I ever spent on the Wii U.

There are two ways to autoboot into a CFW

CBHC (This uses HaxChi)
Mocha over Web (You can set up your autostart options to launch Wii U browser on boot, then you just force browser to load a specific link which triggers Mocha on every launch)
