Im guessing it says SYSTEM update for us consoles, and GAME update for Eur. on US, it probably starts, fails, and then checks system, says "oh! its not on 5.5.1E! Thats why!" we (hopefully) just need the game update

also, does mocha come pre-built with region patching? or does it require me to mess with my settings?

I think the update file got deleted and that's why is getting slower and slower, until it reaches ZERO and it will fail to download,

The game itself, not the Wii U menu, is asking for an update. Therefore it is a game update. It just says system update because technically no one should get this error message to begin with

You have to install the game to the internal WiiU memory or onto an usb HDD or flash drive.
