I bought an USB key for Christmas for my WiiU, so normaly, I plug it in the WiiU and I format it.
So I copy all the data from the old USB key to the new, but when I restart my WiiU, the new USB key has no data...

I need your help, thanks ! :P

thats odd. i use a 128gb flash drive with mine. when are you pulling the drives?
pull it to soon and it wont update the file table or whatever format it uses. might also be a good idea to check the drive on a pc. it might be a fake. a 4 gig drive disguised as a 128

you will have to format it but thats ok. there is a program that does that. it fills the drive then reads it out and compares the results. i forget the name tho....

oh yeah i thinks that's it. i hope its not a 32gb drive disguised as a 128. if so you can restore the correct size.
this noob in 2008 was trying to sell 1 tb drives at work and i knew they were fake. he actully thought they were real. he let me try one and i copied 4 gigs of data and it bricked the drive lol. could not even format it. i was rofl it was great.

May I ask why you called it 128Go and not 128GB? I've seen "Go" used a few times on potentially suspicious ebay listings for memory cards...

"o" is for octet in French. Which means byte ("octo" meaning "eight" in Latin so "octet" is for "eight bits", so one byte).

I used a Linux program and I added a NTFS partition because the USB key did not have a partition... so right now the USB key works well ! ;)
