Has anyone figured it out yet how to do it without NTR? (I don't have a New 3DS so NTR won't work). Editing the contents of the CIA would be the way to go, but I don't know how... maybe editing Code.bin will do it?

Here's a video for those who don't know what I'm talking about:

A twitter from Kaphotics:

"S/M No-lines patch: replace 01 01 80 E0 04 20 80 E5 with 01 01 80 E0 00 F0 20 E3"... but where? Lol

It's not going to make the game look any better. Citra is applying graphic enhancements. The black lines removal specifically makes Citra faster.

Some people prefer this look a lot. It's not up to you on what looks good, or doesn't

This has already been argued when it was first applied to the demo.

Let me make it easier for you, go to page 71 on the ALL REG MULTI9 thread of that iso site, and check second post.

Remember to rename the file to
0004000000175E00.bin

and put it inside the folder in your SD:
/luma/code_sections

:)

Here is the easiest solution for o3ds users. You must be using luma cfw

Did I say it would look good or wouldn't? No, I said it won't make it look better. People think that removing the black lines will make it look like that 1080p video everyone keeps linking to. That's Citra adding enhancements. In fact, had you fully read and comprehended my statement you wouldn't even have bothered replying since your statement was 100% irrelevant.

Straight in the CIA with hex editing.
Simple as that.

download that file above and put it inside the folder in your SD: /luma/code_sections.
if you don't see the "code_sections" folder in your luma folder, MAKE ONE
