That's odd, works just fine for me.

Try messing around with the luma3ds settings, do you have the latest release of Luma?

So how did you do that? I'm confused where to put the code for no outline.

Thanks (: It's working perfectly now!

can you post the code or tell us how to get the no line hack to work please?

Kaphotics releasee the no-line patch code for S/M, but idk how to implement it into a ntr plugin https://twitter.com/Kaphotics/status/796023683357605888

I couldn't find the file that were talking about, so I dumped my own. Heres what you can do:

This requires braindump
The homebrew menu
Pokemon moon installed or purchased (I do if sun works with the code)
You must be using luma cfw
The code from the kaphotics tweet I quoted above
A hex editor
You'll need devkitarm installed
The pack hack 3.5 by asia81.
(I used the 3.5 version because the most recent version made this a bit more complicated. That version can be found with their NTR LayeredFS guide.)

First, open the homebrew menu and then braindump.
Select your game. The dump will begin automatically.
Keep an eye on what it does. You only need the exefs for this, so wait until its done dumping the code.bin, banner, etc. When it moves on to dumping the RomFS, go ahead and power down your system by holding the power button.
Put your card in your computer, there will be a new folder with a string of digits as the name. Inside will be a exefs.bin and a romfs.bin. Delete the romfs.bin because its incomplete and not needed here.
Copy the exefs.bin file to the pack hack directory and rename it to DecryptedExeFS.bin
Open the trainer toolkit and type fs
Type exefs
Type yes
A folder called exe will appear all a file called .code.bin inside.
Rename this file to the title Id of your game with .bin at the end. the full 16 digit number of your braindump folder is your title id.
Open the file in your hex editor and make the change found in the tweet. The first 8 numbers will stay the same, this is normal. Save and close the editor.
In the Luma folder on your card, create a new folder called code_sections
Put the edited .bin in there
Turn on your d's and press select immediately to open the Luna menu. Change the "language/region emu. Ext. .code" setting to be ON.
Press start and save. The changes should take effect when you turn on the game. You can see the difference immediately on the models, but its most noticeable in battle and in the pokedex.

I'm on mobile, so I'm sorry this makeshift guide is bad and I couldn't provide links. I found most of the stuff above with google. Good luck!

I'd post my code.bin but the mods won't like that.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

do you know why that is? i don't get it, it's a code to modify a game, and their is a section here for rom hacking and utilitys, i'm sooo confused?
Because the code.bin comes directly from the games files its considered warez even though we've extracted and editors it. When I get home I'll see if I can /find/ it on that iso site for you ;)

Let me make it easier for you, go to page 71 on the ALL REG MULTI9 thread of that iso site, and check second post.

On Luma menu the "language/region emu. Ext. .code" setting must be ON.

Remember to rename the file to
0004000000175E00.bin

and put it inside the folder in your SD:
/luma/code_sections

:)

Anyone happen to know how to force certain events to occur? I screwed up and forgot about the last event with the girl at the ferry. So I set the clock back to get her back (because I checked and she was gone. I did backup the save before starting the game. I restored that save after setting the clock back an hour as it was midnight at the time).

So now she's back with 2 days remaining. However the day counter is no longer advancing because I had to change the date on the clock. (after which I allowed it to advance to the next day naturally as I only set the clock back 10 minutes. After midnight passed a second time on the console, I changed only the time to match correct time).

I recall someone was able to fool the game into activating the events early. So I know this is possible.

You are supposed to use config CIA to change the time. Someone may have a complete save you can use to obtain and transfer the item.

I'm not really interseting in using someone else's save. If I was going to do that I would just gen in the item and be done with it. I'm sure eventually pkHeX will be able to edit event flags in the save and I can just edit my own save so it's completed. If I used a seperate save, I'd have one with all the other items and greninja not transferred yet. I've already transfered all the items and greninja to Pokémon Moon. The final one was the only event I haven't completed and transferred.

So if don't you have a save that has the event stuck on day 0 and cutscene not activated yet with all previous items transferred out, I'm not interested in going that route.

EDIT: So I decided to fiddle with some event flags now that PkHeX supports events to some degree. I set some event ids in the 300 range and then set them back later. What ever I did might have fixed her. She now says 1 day remaining. (used to be stuck on 2 days remaining)

I'll check her again after midnight to see if that event is unstuck. :)

Another thing I noticed is that the game overrides the map location set in the save. I set it to the Pokecenter location (retrieved the map info for this from the full game).

So the game resets that data at boot (as well as party data).

However pokemon "sent to nature" during the catch challenge actually get sent to your PC. The boxes are still populated with those mons. However being that the PC is removed from the Pokécenter in the demo, you have no way of accessing them (at the moment). :P

I gave up and simply reset my demo save and did everything again. (from what I hear Greninja has identical stats/nature and is shiny locked) I backed up my moon save and just started a fresh save on it. Then used Config dev app to edit "raw rtc" (do not use the normal RTC setting) to move the date up for each of the events. I transferred all the items and Greninja into the dummy save I started for Pokémon Moon. Then once I go to the final event I wanted, I restored my Moon backup. I then did the cutscene and got my item like I wanted. So now it's finally where I wanted. I used PkHeX to edit the game start date to be where I actually started the demo so now it's where I left off and still a save I mysefl worked on. :P So consider this solved I guess. :P
