is it possible to fix a save that has been "eaten by a grue" in pokemon Y by using save editorss? the reason i'm asking is because long ago b4 i used homebrew,i just stuck with powersaves and in pokemon Y i had all the clothing available to my character, now i wondered if selecting the "have all clothes" cheat would give me the other clothes the opposite gender was unable to get. it did give the clothes but are un useable and invisible, but also ad a second bad side effect: it ate my character's gender in the game rendering it a unknown but everyone will see it as a boy cause the model was still used, any pokemon that came in would end up being sacrificed and the pokemon and items i sent out via trades would appear back in my boxes/inventory,when i save it will save but when i log back in it reverts to when the "all clothes" cheat was enabled in the 1st place. i tried installing a back up of an older save tht was b4 hand but the powersaves was unable to change the save, then i tried to delete the save in general but that didn't work either as the game freezes once you select "yes" (pros of this: infinite pokemon and items for future pokemon games to come, cons: all incoming pokemon and items are sacrificed)

it sounds like you messed up the save / actually damaged the cart?
the thing these save tools and gadgets always warn you could happen.

it was just a clothes code and it didn't even give a warning at all only the bagde code, and a few other codes had the whole (can affect game) warning on it.the cart runs fine it even saves pr vids and everything else just fine, just the general saving or using pokebank.

Oh, you're using regular homebrew... I think there's a 3DSX version of JKSV. Here's the thread.
(Just so you know, usually you can throw an 3DS homebrew-related acronym into Google and add "gbatemp" after it to find out what it is...)
If JKSV doesn't work, you can try save_manager or sdvt. But JKSV is generally the most reliable and useful.

k. but now the more i look at my "akwardly corrupt/not corrupt game" i see a bit of potential in it IF pokebank gets a update to allow held items to transfer over to sun/moon.(not all held items, but most like balls, wings, plates, ectra) cause if it does then i can exploit my semi corrupt Y file as i can trade to my OR and THEN send them into pokebank through that game along with items tht i'll basically have infinite of.

For what it's worth, JKSV lets you keep multiple copies of a game's saves. So you could have a backup of your busted, cheatsy save, and a copy of a working save.

Did you download the .3dsx version of JKSM? Is it in the "3ds" folder on your SD? Did you extract the file from the zip archive it comes in before you put it on your SD?
