On part 3 there should be a hb_launcher_loader.cia for download. Install that then you can launch homebrew from your home menu. Be aware that is broken on 11.1.
Also on part 3 there should be a link for Luma updater. Or you can just download the newest one and replace your arm9loaderhax.bin.

So the only file I need to replace to update Luma3DS is arm9loaderhax.bin? What about the "3ds\Luma3DS" folder or the Luma3DS.dat file?

Also, the Homebrew Launcher page seems to only have .bin versions of the launcher, not sure how I am supposed to use those, they don't seem to have a CIA version.

They also ask if I want a "otherapp" or "ropbin" version, and I can't tell the difference is.

It's not funny :(
You didn't deliberately mess with the version string?

Luma.dat is used for non-a9lh CFW. The luma folder will stay the same. It's arm9loaderhax.bin that is launched when you start up your console so that is what you need to replace.
Edit: 3ds/Luma3DS is also used for the non-a9lh version so you don't need that either.
I'm not sure about the homebrew payload question sorry

No, it's server-side.
Yes, but like changing console ID or something ? NO ?

Because i need to do same steps to other 3DS.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

So what I'm up to is:

- One Hacked O3DS ( Well, I have to create many NNID ) better than getting back the current NNID.
*But it must be a way to change physical ID* Right ?

- Other un-hacked N3DS

The N3DS XL i ordered was delivered today. so i picked up a 'Samsung microSDXC UHS-I Card 64GB EVO Plus' from my local store. The clerk claimed it would be the right one and that he also used it for his console, which means....i'm not trusting that guy at all. Will it really work for downgrading/games or should i get a different one. If so, which one?

E: Unpacked it and it's MBR, should work i guess.

64GB will be formated as newFAT
when you need FAT32 as well.

Don't take my words, because some people got formated them SD to FAT32.

So does that mean i need to use a specific tool to get FAT32 or what's the issue since according to Plailect's guide you can use uo to 128GB.

3DS/2DS were never meant to work with SDXC (64Gb and up).

In order to make them work, you'll have to format it with FAT32 64Kb cluster size. Windows will never format SDXC with FAT32 (it formats on exFAT).
You can either use a 3rd party formatter (google "guiformat") or, if you have a CFW console, use EmuNAND9 to format the card in it (SD Format Options, Format SD <no EmuNAND> ).

It's better to use the 4Gb SD that comes with the console to hack it and when everything is done and working, copy over the files to the new SD card.

The 4GB one got somehow lost when i took it out, went downstair and came back. The cat probably used it as a toy and kicked it under the couch or something like that.

I had guiformat downloaded since i used it for my wii u before, but i can't get it to format the Sd card. Whether i use the Adapter that came with it or a card reader, it claims that another process is running and using the SD Card. I got nothing open besides a chrome browser window and Fat32 format. Already rebooted my system. Any idea whats causing it?

Edit: 7 attempts later, it finally worked lol.

Can I brick my consoles by freezing too much in games with NTR? Because I tend to freeze in custom tracks in CTGP-7 launched with BootNTR...and I am wondering if it can mess up the 3dses...I already froze in 2 different tracks so far...

I fixed my 3ds and then it asked for an update. Took it as I figured it was 11.1
