My current situation:
Had a N3DSXL Sys 9.2/Rei 11.0, then it fell down and broke. Now bought a new one, again a N3DSXL and downgraded it to 9.2. I set up a new emunand on a new SD card and did everything till menuhax and then just switched back to my old SD card, started Homebrew and tried to boot my emunand through the Reinand.3dsx. Splashscreen showed up and then ended with a black screen.
I went on with installing Menuhax via the old SD card and getting triggers and everything exactly to what my broken 3DS used and tried it again with Reinand, black screen again.
Tried it then with Luma3DS, doesn't start.

1. Any ideas how to solve it? (No, SD card is not corrupt. So it's definitely not the problem.)
2. I have a NAND.bin backup of my emunand. If i'd theoretically would use a completely new SD card and create an emunand there and restore the NAND.bin on it would I get back my savestates and installed CIAs?

(Sorry for the bad grammar and text wall but this is really important to me and Google didn't help.)
From what I read, I think you are using the sd card from your old ds with its emunand. Nands are console specific. The only way you can make use of it is if you had xorpads for the nand and obtained decrypted copies of each console specific file, and injected it into a new nand.
If you aren't, your nands might be linked, and its trying to load menuhax again (which breaks stuff). Try uninstalling menuhax temporarily and use another entrypoint to get into emunand.

This solves my question, thanks. Wasn't aware that the emunand is console specific.

Leads to my next noob questions; is there a tutorial on how to decrypt an emunand A to inject it in another console which is currently running emunand B without hardmodding or Al9h?

You need to use decrypt9 on the console that the emunand is from, but at that point, I think it's easier to just use decrypt9 to dump the relevant files. (if it has a dedicated option in there, it should be relevant enough to dump and inject).

Which means it's impossible now since my 3DS the emunand is from is broken, right?

makes it impossible to load a save i had a few days ago. it corrupts the data.
Maybe report that on the JKSM thread. JKSM should be the very best save manager out there.
In regards to your original question, if you want a particular app to show in the menu you just have to paste it into your 3ds folder.

Here is a ridiculously noob question: I forgot how to launch Homebrew Launcher.

I followed this guide several months ago:
https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki

And got Arm9loader and Luma3ds and everything setup. Luma seems to bet set to launch when I hold select on powerup, Hourglass9 on start, and I also seem to have uncart and decrypt9 setup to launch with X/Y.

And I noticed I have a file called "hblauncherloader_otherapp_payload_11_(some version number).bin" in the root of my SDcard.

However, I see no Homebrew Launcher icon on my homemenu and I can 't find any button or combination to start it. Did I just simply forget to reinstall it after this hack guide?

Also, while I am at it... I can't figure out how to update Luma3DS as well. I tried googling it, but only found guides to install it or hack your 3DS. The rar I downloaded has a arm9loaderhax.bin and Luma3DS.dat file in it, but while I do have a arm9loaderhax.bin file in the root of my sd card, I don't have a Luma3DS.dat. Is this file even needed? Also, is the "\3ds\Luma3DS" folder needed, or is that just to launch it through homebrew launcher if you don't have arm9loader?

On part 3 there should be a hb_launcher_loader.cia for download. Install that then you can launch homebrew from your home menu. Be aware that is broken on 11.1.
Also on part 3 there should be a link for Luma updater. Or you can just download the newest one and replace your arm9loaderhax.bin.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I would like to know how to do it myself so I don't have to rely on an app to update it.
Go on Luma's GitHub release page, download the latest, and replace your arm9loaderhax.bin. That's all the updater does anyway.

I don't have any explanation as to why the app went funny, if it was me I'd probably redownload it. The JKSM release thread is here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-jks-savemanager-homebrew-cia-save-manager.413143/

If a 3ds is still on 11.0 and not on the new 11.1 will the dsi down grade using field runners work?
You can't system transfer if it isn't on the latest version. If you managed to do the system transfer before 11.1 hit then you can downgrade. Apparently DSiWareHax still works on 11.1 but there's no homebrew entry points to do the actual downgrade.

So basically not possible to do a downgrade on 11.0 or 11.1 at the moment due to the home brew entry point not working with 11.0
