Ah....... it still says invalid.
My computer says it's a different filetype than the original romf, so maybe that's it... :(
Idk how that happened though.
But it's not like my computer recognized what either is exactly so I dunno...

Ack, but it says SD code is actually valid...? Is this making any sense? ._.
Should I try that?

Erm.. it said the code method was valid, but... it didn't seem to do anything to the game. ^^;
Look at the support options. There should be more supports between characters if you did everything correctly.

I opened a version where I had all the characters unlocked, and I looked at my avatar's supports and there were no new ones.
...I just thought of something though... Do you still need to keep the 0004000000179400 folder?? or do you just need the thing in the hans folder??

You don't need it but I'd keep it just in case you need to redo the process.

I kept it on my computer, but I didn't have room for it on my SD card, even after deleting everything I could afford to.
Man, if that's not the problem though, I don't know what is...

A lot of people have been having issues with this hack, whether it be hans not working or a variety of other things.

Whoa, I might've actually gotten it working...! I got the thing to stop saying invalid.
But how long does it take to boot the game, or do you do that yourself??

No I was talking about injecting DLC by ExtraData. That's possible with just homebrew access because JK's Save Manager works with Fates. That's why Deathchaos' DLC is currently usable without CFW. It's just that when you install a DLC, it creates files in extra data you can then inject in someone else's 3DS with a save editor. That makes whatever the DLC does (in that case new characters) usable but only if it's not a new map or something. A support mod might work (characters definitely works at least).
I don't think that's how DLC generally works, but how the game adds new characters and the like to the game specifically without having to load up the DLC every time you use a DLC character or have a DLC item that wasn't in the base game. It may be possible to add supports that way, but as Anna's supports are included in the base game already, my bets are on it not being possible without further evidence.

Adding in new supports through DLC is possible - I can't dig up the post at the moment, but @DeathChaos25 was showing off some support options that he managed to add in entirely through custom DLC. That said, I think there were issues getting S supports working using that method. I don't know if he ever figured that part out.

If he did, he never posted his findings about it.
