tikSweep is a small utility I made that will remove any ticket files that are not being used.

This is useful if you've tried something that batch installed tickets and then decided you want to remove these ticket files.

Even if you haven't used either of those apps you may still have unused ticket files for homebrew or custom CIA files that you have installed and since removed.

It will not delete tickets for any software that is currently installed, nor will it touch any system tickets regardless of their state.

Unused are most likely uninstalled. you are right only if you have never ever uninstalled a thing.

tickets are installed each time you install a cia. so this can include homebrew cias that you've deleted but still have tickets you might want to clean up.

This is pretty nice actually, with this I can keep my nand as clean as possible.
Thanks :D

Is it possible to actually merge the function into your Tikshop app? It seems a bit redundant to have 2 separate apps for ticket. Maybe it can be merged as something like Ticket Manager? It could probably be expanded with function like display title name with title id.

tikShop was designed mainly to install on (for example) a kid's system and as such I made it as easy to use as possible

Yes they could very easily be combined but I chose not to in order to keep tikShop as easy to use as possible

This is not only usefull for tikshop users, every time you install a CIA (or download something from eshop/freeshop), it installs a ticket and is not removed, no matter if you unistall these apps, so this is very useful for this. I alreally unistalled like 150 tickets with this and I never used something like tikshop or tikdevil.

Yeah I understand what it does. I was just saying the function seems to fall under "ticket manager" umbrella. It's very useful indeed though.

The other thing... the purpose of TIKdevil, and tikShop both conflict with the purpose of this app...

Both of those are designed to install every ticket available

This is designed to remove every ticket that isn't in use...

Running both this and TIKdevil / tikShop wouldn't be very efficient...
