I would like to watch shows on it without being at my PC, but for some reason the portable versions do not offer the ad version of the site.

Thank you for the reply.
However, the PS Vita's Crunchyroll application, as far as I know, forces you to make a premium account in order to use it (starts a 2-week trial, I think)
I wanted to know if there was a way to have the site recognize the consoles as being PCs so that you can use the ad version instead of the ad-less premium version.

What?
i am using it right now on my Vita with and my 2 week trail ended year ago.
The premium only will let you watch without ad and new contents.

Really? So they do not force you to keep your premium account? That is good news.
What about on the 3DS?

Also, when you sign up does it require some kind of credit card information?

Wait,you didn't sign up yet?
I believe when you sign up they give you an option to try 14 days of premium, you can chose it if you want, but you must log to your account on Vita to be able to watch.
No credit card required.

No, I signed up on the computer, but not on the PS Vita because it seemed that I needed the premium account.
I will try it again and see how it goes.

if your Vita on lower frameware you must update it.

That is fine, as I updated it the other day.

Huh...I guess it works without an account.
I am not sure why I thought that it did (maybe it was the 3DS that asked for one?)
So, do you know if the 3DS works with Crunchyroll like that as well?

Also, thank you for your help!
