That's correct, but changing the ROM (by translating it) will break Nintendo's signature. To run ROMs without Nintendo's signature, you need a CFW. As far as I know, Sky3DS only runs official, signed ROMs, please correct me if I'm wrong here...

Like I said, Sky3DS wouldn't help you at all, because the unofficial translation will have its signature broken

You don't need any of that. You could use the QR/webpage method. Google it.

You'd be able to run it with just homebrew (on the latest FW you can only use OOT + Powersaves or Cubic Ninja at the moment, but apparently a new exploit's releasing tomorrow) using HANS, but otherwise you need CFW.

Tomorrow’s hax should work though - it's supposed to be QR code based (like cubic ninja). And so long as you aren't on 11.0 you can still downgrade, so you're fine!

It's still a bit off, but, if you're unwilling/unable to use 3ds exploits, you could always wait until the citra 3DS emulator was stable also. It seems to be making great strides right now.

Also, this is no longer a problem. I downgraded from 10.7 from browserhax using this guide:

It may take a few tries of the hack freezing, but do not worry. It's the hack itself being so unstable. Once you boot up to the homebrew menu once, the world is yours!

Anyway, dude openly stated he wanted to hijack the previous fan translation effort and insert his own music into the game because he didn't like some of the game's preexisting tracks, which isn't the point of a fan translation at all.

As a musician, I am in the process of designing pieces that I hope can be implemented into the game. In Chapter 1 of the game, which takes place in Japan, you'll notice that the soundtrack feels very much influenced by Asian culture. I feel that this is very appropriate in that it uses traditional Japanese overtones, melodies, and other familiar chord structures. The problem I have with it is the jump into England. The soundtrack for Cross Examination, Court Opening, and other such melodies are the same. I feel that this hurts the players absorption in the game. I think that instead the OST could feature more English compositions, such as the work of Beethoven. (Of course none of this would be any sort of major change from each original piece. Perhaps the biggest thing would be a "remix" of sorts, similar how to Dual Destinies uses the Objection! them from T&T, but with different instrumentals and slightly tweaked melodies.)

I wouldn't feel comfortable having someone like that be on the fan translation team proper, simple as that.

Can't speak for the whole team, but I'm pretty sure that's not an option.

Dude, they already stated what they will and won't do, and you keep bothering with issues that nobody ever talked about. They already said they would only translate the game and that's that. You seem to be looking for trouble -.- That's being a troll -.-
