Hacking No *Hax won't boot after Downgrading o3DS from 10.3 to 9.2

Hey Guys,

I downgraded a o3DS for a friend which worked well.
I was able to reinstall menuhax, can boot HBL but when I try to Load Gateway-Menu or PastaCFW or RxTools, I just get a black screen.
Tried to boot Gateway menu through Browserhax => White Screen.

Firmware says 9.2.0-20E

Used "Downgrade Check" Homebrew and I got a log with this information:

how can I get the Exploits to work again?


EDIT: EmuNAND9 does not let me dump the SysNAND :/

Try deleting the boot.3dsx and replacing it with a new one (don't copy over, delete it and copy back another one, might not do anything... but it did work for me once with a o3DSXL)

If not try upgrading back to 10.3 and downgrading again, as it could be a "bad" downgrade! I believe it has happened before to some users around here.

thanks for the info. Deleting the boot.3dsx didn't helped (tried to boot Launcher.dat through Gateways Browserhax, too => Whitescreen).
Upgrading to 10.3, how? SafeSysUpdater?

That's normal, there are some leftover titles that didn't exist in 9.2, but it's not the cause of your problems.
You most likely have a partial downgrade, where NATIVE_FIRM was not properly downgraded. No kernel exploits will work since they rely on old NATIVE_FIRM to work (the exception to that is memchunkhax2)
You may need to update with sysupdater and re-downgrade for the titles to downgrade correctly.

i have the same problem after downgrade my n3ds jap from 9.8 to 9.1 i can't boot any cfw or gateway i'm even try to switch another sd card but with no luck.can anyone help my

Problem is, this IS the complete log-file of the downgrade check^^ Everything else seems to be okay. It just gives me infos about this existing Files.

Try another downgrade-check if you can. By any chance is minipasta working?

so if i try to update sysnand to 9.2 can this fix my problem and do i need to delete this cia from update folder ( 000400102002CA00.cia )cuz i have jap n3ds.

An incomplete NATIVE_FIRM downgrade probably wouldn't show up on the test, because the firm CIA is installed to NAND but not written to firm0/firm1.

Yeah, sadly. He could just use safesysupdater again then? If native_firm wasn't touched somehow, memchunkhax2 is still up, isn't it? Sounds risky though.

SysUpdater will see the CIA as already installed, and skip it.

As long as FBI is capable of installing FIRM correctly. I don't know if it is since it requires an extra step compared to regular CIAs.

Oh snap. I didn't thought of that. I guess he can in the last resource use Julian20 sysupdater to update to 10.3 and start anew.

Hm.... still on 9.2 but unable to run any *hax or CFW.
MenuHax will boot Homebrewlauncher and is able to boot sysupdater 0.4.2 and SafeSysUpdater but I can't install 10.3 back to NAND with SysUpdater 0.4.2... only get "can't get CIA file info" or something like this.
I'm not sure how to update back to 10.3 by using SafeSysUpdater because I only get the Option for downgrading (press Y for downgrade)
