Wait for KTM. It'll be much, much safer.I'm done wasting my time trying.
I'll try again when something better comes up.
I keep getting titleExeption:
main.cpp:100: Result: 0xD8E08067
failed to get CIA file info!
does anyone know what to do?
Well doin a simple test based on curiousity with menuhax stuck at #5, im out boys. Is it safe to upgrade from 9.8 to 10.3 for consistency purpose or should i stay on 9.8?Actually, I see people, specifically American users, having a lot more luck with the N3DSXL models than the non-XL ones. Although, you probably should wait anyway.

You only need to delete that file if you're downgrading a JN3DS.
you're not using menuhax 2.1 are you? I'm in the same model and fw as you and about to downgrade, and I haven't updated my menuhax since the latest menuhax versionN3ds XL 10.1u []===> 9.2 success, work with menuhax lol, if you have a black screen after reboot , remove the menuhax after downgrading since now there different versions
By 2.1 you mean 10.2+ support, then noyou're not using menuhax 2.1 are you? I'm in the same model and fw as you and about to downgrade, and I haven't updated my menuhax since the latest menuhax version
Nice can you pm me the ttp link (im gonna test it again, just to make sure)Also succeeded getting a N3DSXL downgraded. Bought it today at 9.9U, upgraded to 10.3 to get browserhax, and then completed the downgrade in only a few minutes using menuhax as the entrypoint, so now I'm on 9.2!
Froze a few times at #5 but just hard reset every time and it was fine.
you will lose menuhaxConsidering updating from 9.9 to 10.3 as that's where most people seem to be downgrading from, the only hax I have access to though are menuhax and OoT3dhax, would I lose any of these when I update?
I can just install shufflehax then right?you will lose menuhax
I'd really like to figure out how to make this work with my SD (it doesn't know where to look). I don't know the command line yet :-/I had this problem, and I was trying to send those files to the SD card via OSX/Mac.
Turns out that the sysUpdate has a lazy method of looking for CIA files, one which essentially takes everything in the entire /updates directory. When you have OSX, and you look at files in your finder, it adds a bunch of hidden files that are pre-pended with _ characters... to rid yourself of these files within the SD card, type the following command:
find ./ -name '._*' -exec rm -v {} \;
Hope this helps!
