Does anyone have a backed up Powersave that they can share with me that can be used with my Mario and Luigi: Dream Team US Cartridge? One that has Hard Mode beaten (up to the final boss of course).

And Filo97 if you're reading this, you already know about this, so see if you can help me out when/if you can.

This may or work with Pokemon X/Y but it does work with Dream Team as long as the regions match.

sky3ds doesn't preclude sharing saves. svdt for instance (homebrew) can pull savegames off of sky3ds.

if you spend some time browsing the forum you will learn what sky3ds is (flash cart)

Ok, but like I said I want a powersaves backup of the US version of the game from a catridge of the game itself with Hard Mode beat.

I'm halfway through Hard Mode, I would share my save if you wanted but my game is in CIA format so it would be a decrypted save, I'm not sure if those are compatible with PowerSave.

What's CIA? Maybe I can get that. I'm sorry I'm not too familiar with 3DS Homebrew since I waited for Ninnjhax 2.0 to come out.

CIAs are the format in which 3DS game files comes and are used to install it as a digital game in the console, with SDF (A Nintendo SDK application) you can decrypt saves from games in the console, they usually come in .dat or formatless files so I'm not sure if PowerSave can read those. You can convert those saves in Gateway's .sav files though.

I still have my 100% hard mode save. I could supply it through SVDT and, assuming you have an entry point, you could install it. I'll attach it to this post if you do.

I have one.

Ok and do you have Powersaves? If you do, do you have Hard Mode beaten (up to the final boss)? If not, what point of the game are you at?

What's SVDT? I'm sorry but I'm kind of an amateur at 3DS homebrew so I'll need instructions. And what do you mean by an entry point?

PowerSaves backups are encrypted, so unless the game is using the old 1.0 encryption method, someone else's PowerSaves backup won't be of any use to you, as games that were manufactured after 2.0 are using cartridge-specific encryption. If you have homebrew you can import a decrypted save with svdt.

He's talking about ejecting the save file out of the powersaves device and sharing it with him on here. Sadly, I think sharing saves is against the rules...? I'm not sure.

I'm not sure if Mario and Luigi: Dream Team (USA) uses 1.0 or 2.0. And I do have homebrew thanks to ninjhax 2.0. Now all I need is a decrypted save.

Dream Team won't let svdt start...you're saying I should get that game to get oothax to get hbc?

Are you sure you can't use powersaves?
