But endrift didn't include a kernelhax in mgba. Did you compile your own version? can you share it?
I downloaded mGBA recently and it had a .cia build of it. Which would mean kernel access is enabled. The emulators for 3ds are just too young right now to expect any good speeds. I'm surprised at what they can do atm. Wait until the middle of next year and I bet ALL emulators for 3ds will be considerably better than they are now.

Being a CIA does not mean it has kernel access and doesn't mean it even uses the kernel features. mGBA doesn't use it.

My statement still remains valid. Homebrew is very young atm and you can't expect 100% fullspeed from emulation. Especially if you aren't on running on a N3DS.

If you got Ambassador GBA games on O3DS, you can inject GBA roms of your choice in there, according to a thread here somewhere.

You don't even need the games, just a GBA ROM and you also have to patch the AGB_FIRM but yeah, full speed GBA on 3ds (now we need to hack it more so that we can load any ROM without building a CIA of it) it also requires kernel access though

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol

So that version is semi rare
