eShop is only supposed to work on the latest version... Don't think eShop is still going to work on old consoles via the spoof when the new accounting system hits and everyone on old firmware still has a NNID. Nintendo owns their services and can do whatever the heck they want with them.

You are right that they can do whatever the heck they want with the servers. But if you read my post way earlier in this thread, I did mention that if they changed the eshop servers completely to the point where the eshop app can't even connect (thus making spoofing useless), then how will the eshop be able to download the new update? Now, maybe in the newer version firmwares Nintendo has added a patch that will allow it to adjust to that. But then again, it has to work all the way down to firmware version 1.0.
eShop works just fine for me on a New 3DS 9.0 using freemultipatcher.

just double checked my DNS Settings... and like a dumbfuck i still have the tubehax DNS in, set it back to google's IPv4 DNS (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4) and it's working.

I'm on 10.1 and I was able to download pokémon rumble world and pokémon shuffle after people in this thread said it wasn't working anymore.
Then after someone on 10.1.0-27U said they started getting the same error, I went to try to download Pokémon X latest game update (I don't even have pokémon X lol)
Worked fine.
If there's a fix maybe they're slowly rolling it out for eveyone? idk that wouldnt make sense.
I've had TubeHax DNS on both primary DNS and secondary DNS and it worked fine for me.

Could you try to dump the shop using braindump and use it as romhax on the new 3DS?O3DS + emuNAND 10.2 = Fine.
