I went back to the walmart here today and they only had 2 red N3DSXL left, one started with serial QW1047 and the other was QW1055. I don't think that these would be 9.2 or lower firmware. I might check other walmart stores nearby to see what they have.

oops lol, the downside to using dark as a forum style is the text sometimes retains its grey formatting when copied ^.^

That one is listed in such a way that some are 9.4 and some are 9.2. It's a risk.

Has anyone bought a N3DS XL recently from EB games in Australia and gotten a 9.2 or below one? I want to get one so I can use my gateway again (that and the new Xenoblade game). They have Blue, Black, Metallic Blue, Metallic Black, Blue + New Art Academy and Black + NAA.

Just nabbed a brand new QW4010 (MM LE) on Amazon.ca. Kicking myself for spending that much money three months before 3 birthdays and christmas...

Just reporting in, I received the unit, powered it up, configured and visited the settings app. 9.0.0-20U! Great success~

It is worth to wait for any update of Gateway team or just update to fw 10.1 and go for Sky3ds?
Already have o3ds fw 4.5 with Gateway 3.4.1 and emunand 10.1.
Option 1: sell o3ds + Gateway and buy sky3ds.
Option 2: wait for updates.

Tough choice...guess it depends on what you want to do.
1. Dump your own game roms, use ctw and hb tools
2. Download roms off the net and that's all.

Censor your serial number not saying Nintendo will blacklist/ban the console but its a possibility, that's why we only need the first 4-6 digits.
