Well, I believe N3DS support is stable enough, but it has missing some parts.
The installation system is the most serious problem. It needs the NATIVE_FIRM of 9.5, which is no longer available on CDN.

But we can use the NATIVE_FIRM of 9.5 which we've used for ReiNAND + the FIRM-Patcher (.py), right?
Still wondering if we're able to run it through downgraded MSET-Exploit on N3DS :|

I don't know well (or at all), but I heard ReiNAND includes the decrypted NATIVE_FIRM. If so, you can use it.
I don't know what "the FIRM-Patcher (.py)", means, but if it's the downloader in rxTools, you don't have to use it.

If I recall properly, I've seen on another thread that it is a tool to extract the firm.bin from reinand binary, for use with Rxtools, but I could be wrong

Put the ReiNand "firmware.bin" into the "rei-to-rx" folder and click on "rei-to-rx.py"
Copy this new "firmware.bin" into the rxTools "data" folder and rename it to "0004013800000002.bin".

mset in my opinion is a few jumps away, i'm not saying it's within a few updates but i'm not saying it's years away. either way, mset is a little tricky for the n3ds i'll admit that, it has been done, but only one "cfw" has the crap down and that's GW.

Firmware.bin "emulates(?)" a newer Firmware as this you've installed.
If you're on 9.0, you can use Firmware.bin (9.5) to play Games that need Firmwares on 9.5

The technical information is lacking, but I suspect it's the NATIVE_FIRM of 9.5. Can anyone supply the size and md5sum?

Run rxTools with ninjHAX, skip the data installation and launch the rxMode!

make sure to grab the firmware.bin and convert it ro rx. it'll be 1024 kb and place it in the rxTools/data folder

I did all that and renamed it to "0004013800000002.bin", but still getting that data installation thing.

it should say install failed press "b" do you have a firmware.bin on the root of the sd card? Also, try not naming it, i didn't because i forgot and yeah it worked so maybe it's a hit and miss?

Okay, I put the firmware.bin on the root of the SD card. And removed the "0004013800000002.bin" from the data folder. Still stuck on that Data Installation thing.

try deleting the rxTools folder, and do it all from scratch, grab the newest compiled rx, i think it was like 15hrs ago, then place rxtools folder on root, then alter firm, place in rxtools/data, replace cubic ninja files, eject enjoy

This is getting confusing.
So what are that you would think of in getting this to work? I followed that guide 5 times already and still on that data installation thing.

ReiNAND has fully functional N3DS MSET support.
