First, redownload the branch becouse i've just commited a fix.
And if you are under windows, type : make release LINK.c=gcc

Cool I'll give that a try. Thanks. :D

how do u auto-boot the emunand?

It already does now. The delay before it does is kinda long though. :P

EDIT: The fix doesn't work for me:

Code:
C:\Users\Spenser\Desktop\rxTools-master>make release LINK.c=gcc
gcc -o tools/fill_with_zero tools/toolsrc/fill_with_zero/main.c
make: gcc: Command not found
make: *** [tools/fill_with_zero] Error 127

C:\Users\Spenser\Desktop\rxTools-master>

Still get the other error when I try to compile rxTools. :(

download it from rxtools.net
Is there any plan to make the download work for everyone? The download refuses to start on every PC, tablet, and phone I own despite what browser I use. I get to the downloading rxtools page with the link to the how-to and it just stops. This is also the only site I really have this problem with. Sorry for being a hassle.

Edit: evidently I can't even post right.

You could try here for the spider launch http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/
(I assume you are using this on a O3Ds & not a N3DS)

okay now rxTools will not let me install FBI onto my console

It just says fatal error! and then gives me the option to press A to exit. Anyone else experience this?

I am on 4.2.0.9U, so any advice?

btw Roxas, might want to put in the OP that the release.rar has a false positive with certain AV software (such as Avast), causing it not to download. I've seen two people ask, and I actually ran into the issue myself (but knew how to fix it). Just tell people to disable their AV for 5 minutes while downloading the file, if they're getting network errors.

I finally got things to compile. I had to download a base package of MinGW (and have it's bin folder added to my PATH) and this version of "make" installed:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/gnuwin32/

Though only works if I don't add that version of make to my PATH. MinGW is important though and should be listed on the required libs on your GitHub page. ;)

This is what I have added to my path as of now:

Code:
C:\MinGW\bin;c:\devkitPro\msys\bin;C:\devkitPro\devkitARM\bin

The other path stuff is already added when installing DevKitPro through it's automated installer. ;)

Note that armips had to be copied to bin folder of msys lib before anything using armips would compile. Not sure if this is still the case with latest source. But it's something I did early on that fixed that.

Thanks to @duke_srg for helping me get things setup correctly for compiling this.
