exactly... but knowing sony they won't allow it. but again the ps3 life cycle is coming to a close so there's always hope.

I'm not sure but I think I heard that the backwards compatibility will depends on the will of the editor. Let's say you want to play Final Fanatsy XIII that you own on 360 and Square just asks Microsoft to not enable the functionality, it will not work.
Am I wrong ?

I'm not sure how they even "got it done". I'm assuming it's a firmware upgrade, but a bit more info could've been interesting.


But all in all, it doesn't surprise me the crowd goes wild. This is something that actually tips the balance of sony vs MS in the latter's favor.

It's the "Elite" controller. Probably made for PC gamers in mind.
