Hacking My DS's doesn't recognize my R4i SDHC 2013, is there anything else I can do?

Well, I've tried to use YSMenu in this card (dual booting) so I've charged the kernel of my flash, then in the DS tried to open the YSMenu.nds but suddenly my upper screen got black and the touchscreen white...

After that (I've rebooted) I wanted to try again but it doesn't boot (with or without micro SD, and tried in other DS as well) the spongebob game....

What else can I do?

Will reply on this one, have you formatted the micro sd and reinstalled just the default firmware? I'm still looking for the page I saw the other day, but that's one answer I've just found.

Not at the moment, but I have another exactly flash (with a working kernel thought) and just switched the micro sd... the faulty one just doesn't recognize it...

Nop... Just reformatted it and didn't worked... well is the same it doesn't recognize the flash, Ive tried put it and removing it, blowing it... nothing works.

I found this on yahoo answers, not sure if it's any good though. "you need to get another flashcart to get it working. just use the r4 orginal card, download the wood firmware for the r4 orginal card, download the update patch, put them on the sd card, put the r4 original card and sd card on your ds lite, turn on, run the update patch, take out the r4 orginal card, put your bricked r4 card, go on with the update. finish the reflash process then."

True, if the update freezes or something it might mess up the working one too.

You need a DS fat/ lite to do that (and i'm not sure if it works with this card).
The Donator card should only be compatible with the DS lite and not dsi/3ds because the old cards didn't require rewritable flash storage.

I have a DSTT so there is no risk with that?


So you have a link of a tutorial about it?

EDIT: Ok, I've tried it with exactly the same model of the flash and it didn't let me go farther because it says that my flash actually has that firmware... and don't know if there's something new nowadays... the page is www.r4isdhc.com
