Yeah, not working,,,, :/

Screens here (following your steps, I was doing it correctly but doesnt start exploit)

How to fix this?

I can't read that but you're pressing the right options I think. You did the NVRAM installer and installed the mset cia in sysnand right?

I'm a little confused on the bluecardfix.cia file. As an o3DS user with SysNand 4.2 / EmuNand 9.7, is this cia useful for me?

DS flash cards already work on SysNand, but if I install this to EmuNand, would I then be able to use them in EmuNand (either Gateway Mode or Classic Mode)? I haven't experimented, but I've been reading that playing a DS game removed the profile information that serves as an entry point for the Launcher, so if I can use DS cards on EmuNand and not worry about losing that Profile (especially if it means allowing my DS profile to have "regular" info for games that use it), I would like that. Especially since I tend to use SysNand only as long as it takes to get to EmuNand, anyway.

You can't load DS carts on emunand. You're using O3DS and still on sysnand 4.2 so bluecardfix.cia is useless. Or give it a try if you want a risk.

Is not working for me , no confirmation , boot always in emunand.

Also the blue card is working on my new 3ds after installing the bluecard.cia on sysnand.

Put the latest 3.2.1 Launcher.dat file from the package to the console's micro SD card.

EDIT: Is it after the install or what? You need to hold "L" when tapping DS profile to enter GW mode.

Show the top screen if possible, I suspect that you installed MSET in emuNAND or didn't run NVRAM install from GW menu.

Has anyone been able to get Acekard 2i working on the New 3DS with flashcardtimewarp.cia, bluecardfix.cia, or 0004800F484E4841.cia? They all seem to serve the same purpose as changing the whitelist of DS games. It's not a huge deal to play my Acekard 2i since I have the Gateway Blue card working again, but I was just curious.

I already know it all and it's already done, the problem is in the gateway menu you launch gateway mode and you hold the B button like gateway said and nothing happens is boot in emunand.

I had figured the thing blocking DS carts in emunand was the firmware version, so I didn't know if this bluecardfix thing would change that. Since it's just emunand, it's not much of a risk, either. So I backed up my emunand, installed the cia, and did some testing. Unfortunately, it does not seem like I can run either the Gateway blue card or the Acekard 2i. Behavior is identical in both Gateway mode and Classic mode. Since it didn't work, I went ahead and restored the backup.

Blue card: Appears in system menu, but freezes on black screens when trying to run it.
Acekard 2i: Does not even appear in system menu.

Can't think of anything I might've been doing wrong, so unless someone else has more knowledge, I'm going to say that you are correct and it does not work even with bluecardfix installed. Still, worth a shot. And it's not a big deal, since I can still use sysnand.

Is it possible you did not copy the 3.2.1 Launcher.dat to your system's SD card? Also, are you holding B before pressing A? If you hold B, the menu option should change to "BOOT GATEWAY/CLASSIC SYSNAND MODE", and then while holding B, press A to get the confirmation screen.

Noob Bluecard question here.

I've installed GW 3.2.1, installed bluecardfix and the other cia.

Turned off console, put blue card in, turned it on and saw the Deep Labyrinth logo. Opened it.

Now do I install NVRAM from the Blue Card? I'm not in emunand or anything.

You could have installed NVRAM from the Gateway menu.
And yes, you boot into the blue card, and open up the Gateway installer and follow the instructions.

That's what's freaking me out. I did install the NVRAM with the red card. I can boot to GW mode via Red card.

So should I run it again or am I good to start playing .nds Roms?

Thanks.

If you can boot into gateway mode using the DS profile option in system settings, you're done.

You can install the NVRAM either via the gateway menu or via the blue card, both do the same thing.
Once it is installed it will work until you play a DS game (or DS mode flashcart), at which point you can reinstall the NVRAM either by the blue gateway card/any ds flashcart or using the zelda OOT/Cubic Ninja method to launch the gateway menu then doing it from there.

By the way, when they say it downgrade the system settings, it should still be displayed "9.x" and not "4.x" right?

Because on my N3DS, sysand still display "9.0.0-20E" but as the exploit is working, I suppose it's the normal behavior?

First installation have to be done "manually", though (NVRAM option is the gateway menu, then the "mset.cia" file on sysnand). Just installing the .NDS file is not enough. Once it's installed and if the exploit is removed (by playing DS game), the .NDS installation should be enough to reinstall it (though I didn't tested it yet).

And for people who haven't unlocked the Blue Card yet, also need to install the "bluecardfix.cia" on sysnand when also installing the "mset.cia" file.

yeah it showing in the menu isnt a guarentee you installed the whitelist correctly, as it will always show up even when blocked and do what you have described (error when launching) double check you install the whitelist into sysnand rather than emunand

Got it all installed working :D

Thanks!

Of course, but he said 'I can boot to GW mode via Red card'.
I also stated 'If you can boot into gateway mode using the DS profile option in system settings, you're done.'. If he hadn't installed the CIA then he wouldn't be booting into gateway mode via the DS profile exploit :)

The mset.cia is the downgraded system settings which is not wiped by playing DS games. The NVRAM install option and the GW_INSTALLER.nds both just install the 'corrupt' ds mode profile which lets the downgraded system settings launch gateway mode.
You wont need to reinstall the cia, you may need to reinstall the NVRAM data after playing a DS game.

Installed in sysnand? How?

Since devmenu only can be executed in emunand (its icon only appears when I go into gateway mode). How would I install it in sysnand?

Yes, I did run nvram from GW menu using the red card, it detected JAP region by the way.

I did all the process until the part of devmenu was not working on new 3ds LL, getting black screen all the time.

Finally I found a devmenu 2x from CFW so there would not be any fragmentation problem and finally it imported the mset jap.cia file.

And now the ds profile exploit does not work. Is it possible re do all steps about installing nvram again and importing mset?
