You can downgrade DS card whitelist, it would be easier.

I know... But it's not work for acekard because of the new TWL_FIRM (Dsi mode of the 3ds) in 4.4+ firmware...
And downgrade the TWL_FIRM not work for many people who try it (that's not brick the 3ds system just the ds mode so you can restore a backup if it's fail)

Hi, is there any risk of brick if I inject SysNAND's ticket.db on EmuNAND?

I have already 2 cia installed on EmuNAND, will I keep these 2 cias?

They're also installed on SysNAND but I can play them only with EmuNAND (they're encrypted)

With no hardmod better make a full nand backup and inject emunand with emunand tool

Acekard was blocked with TWL_FIRM, so the DS Cart White list won't help you getting that to work. To really fix that card, you'll have to downgrade to 4.x then update back to 9.2 using CIAs but excluding the TWL_FIRM and DS Cart White list CIAs. Then you have to restore backups of the 9.2 firm0/firm1 partitions using rxTools into the emunand you updated to 9.2 with CIAs (don't do this on sysnand directly you will brick the console). Then flash that emunand to sysnand.

Unless you know what you're doing, I would recommend getting a NAND mod before attempting this.

This is currently the way you'll get Acekard to work on your 9.x system. ;)

What does this part mean exactly ?
Then you have to restore backups of the 9.2 firm0/firm1 partitions using rxTools into the emunand you updated to 9.2 with CIAs (don't do this on sysnand directly you will brick the console)

Is there any possible means by which I can downgrade the browser on rxMode?
I'm on firmware 4.5, and don't have either a gateway or cubic ninja to install CIAs on the NAND.
Maybe by unpacking the FAT16 partition or something (I have an old backup of 4.5 which could be used)? Has anybody ever tried it and can tell me how it went?
Otherwise, why hasn't anyone ported the homebrew launcher to either the spider exploit or ocarina of crack? I'm not asking for services, just wondering why that's the case.

Yes you wright ^^ But if I understand everything may be possible and depend of the case ?

edit: I also read that is not possible to downgrad a system cia, just upgrade ? ex: the TWL_FIRM

You can downgrade system titles :P just not all of them (I think ??). If you want to downgrade something, uninstall it first then install the older version.

Ok I sucessfully downgrade my TWL_FIRM to 2.0 ! My acecard2i work on 4.5E ! Can I update my sysnand to 6.1 by install 3dnus cias with FBI or this is work only in emunand ?

As long as the cia's are valid and haven't been tampered with, you can install them to sysNAND. Remember to always have a backup of your NAND. If you break it, it's your fault ;)

I know I brick it last week ^^ Too curious... Thats why I ask a lot of question (thank you for your attention, all of you) ! Do I have to delete certain cia in the 6.1.0-8 folder or all is installable ?

All of it should be installable, yes. They'll install but I'm not going to guarantee you that it won't brick your system.

Just make sure you update it and exclude the TWL_FIRM CIA otherwise you just end up updating TWL again. Also you'll brick if you install NATIVE_FIRM with DevMenu/BigBlueMenu/Game Rom. I think sysupdater is the only one that will do it correctly. However it will still brick if you use Gateway (which renders it pretty useless in my opinion) since last time I used it that's what happened. It uses a newer AM:InstallFirm service command that Gateway interferes with it. I have a experimental homebrew that uses the old one and works with Gateway, but the dev behind it decided not to release it so I can't share it.

The best method you have available is to transfer your sysnand to emunand, update it to 9.2 while excluding TWL_FIRM and DS Cart White list CIAs, then use rxTools to inject a emu_firm0/emu_firm1 bin files from a working 9.2 image. Make sure it still boots, then extract it and flash back to sysnand.

(if you don't have them, you'll need to either dump them from a working 9.2 emunand (make sure that emunand had only been updated using system settings otherwise it may also have bad native_firm partitions). But if you don't have access to a 9.2 if your console was never on 9.2 you'll need to acquire the files from someone else. We can't share them here since the files contain copyrighted material.

Better yet, if you have a 9.2 backup of NAND, just flash that back and uninstall TWL_FIRM and downgrade it to 2.0 version while doing the same for DS Cart White list. I don't know why you didn't just do that instead if that was available to you.

Ok this is possible but not like that, with this tool : sysUpdater

But I don't know how to built the cia ?

Steveice10 built a copy. He hasn't tested it, however. Credit goes to him for building it ;)

The true best method is to format a new emuNAND, update it with sysUpdater (that brick only while in sysNAND) and flash it back to sysNAND.
