Any chance of a build of rxTools.dat that jumps right to rxmode without the menu? I don't have any need for the other stuff atm.

This has been requested before, Roxas responded well to the idea but, it hasn't yet been implemented.

It'd make sense, rxMode is the primary reason people are using rxTools now.

it's a few pages back. Don't be lazy. If you click "watch thread" near the top right, you'll have an alert waiting for you with a direct link to the very next post that was made since the last time you visited. I download RXtools v2.4 use the exe program to download 9.0 FW, put the .dat and firmware on root of the sd card. Start Rxtools like you start Gateway by entering the website on the 3ds. That should place me in Emunand? Then i go to System settings, and update Emunand?

You forgot: launch the Gateway launcher and format emunand. And you want to backup your card before that, and restore the files afterwords...

The firmware.bin is not a whole firmware.

Indeed, out of the box, its safe, however it can be used in combination with a few other things, it can certainly facilitate bricking. Specifically I think someone else managed a brick a few pages back by attempting to use the tools packed in with rxmode to inject a ticket.db to sysnand, and bricked because the file was faulty. Rxmode by itself is pretty much impossible to brick with though.

Yup, theres a 6.x installer. I thought everyone knew this. I even posted it a few ages back when I downgraded MSET. I made bullets of rxMode and GW not working.
