Hacking Gateway 3.1 Ultra Public Beta Has Arrived (EUR, USA, JPN)

I am having a very frustratting issue with the system transfer. I am trying to go from my OG 3DS on latest emuNAND to my NN3DS on latest emuNAND. Everything went well until the reboot. I booted it back into emuNAND and I keep getting error 028-3220. I have been searching all over for the past hour and I am not getting ANY results anywhere on what this error means. Can anyone offer any help?

If someone can get this fixed for me, I will send $10 via paypal or bitcoin.

Please let me know if someone answers this. I'm in the same boat...

I had that issue, had to rerun the exploit and format the emunand on the N3DS. again. After that had to set up as new. Then update the emunand again then had to login to Nintendo network for all the eshop stuff to transfer over and had to download everything from the eshop.

yeah me too (my post from another thread) - ok i fixed it -- well not fixed, it seems GW just does not support 8.1 very well, maybe in gw sysnand it was functional, i did not test, i immediately made emunand, but yeah i just had to update, i did it by letting the update download in sleep mode, in the home screen, then updated, and my emunand 9.5 is fine

i did try to update twice before, but it didn't work, but doing the letting it download in sleep mode worked fine

Do me a favor.. is your 3D working a ok? I tried to play a game and the 3D was WAY off.

that is an issue with everyone press the power button, see the 'turn off' screen, close 3ds lid, reopen, and 3d will be ok.
maybe you don't need to press the power button etc, but it works

Have you tried the trick where if you hold L+R+A+D-Pad Up while powering on? It'll ask you if you want to do a system update right away inside the system settings, and declining could help flush out this problem. (It gets rid of the update nags, doubt it does anything useful)

This probably won't work but worth a shot! Who knows where it'll take you.

ALSO: If I purchase a Japanese version of OoT 3D, can I use an American 3DS on 4.5.0 to install the save exploit onto the game before tossing it in my N3DS 8.1J?

From their previous update that's what they said "we will not be able to provide support yet for 9.5 emunand or higher for New 3DS on release".!!!

emuNAND UPDATING CONFIRMED! sick of reading post after post about updating the emunand with no confirmation so I'm not sure if it's been confirmed yet, I'm not reading everything but I was able to update my emunand to GW3D 9.5.0-23U.

I would say if you don't see GW in font of the firmware number you run the risk of updating the sys and not the emu.

i update from home menu, not settings, maybe that did make the difference...
i think i saw someone update whenthe gw text was not there... maybe
but i also saw someone who updated with no gw text, and they updated sysnand... so, yeah - good to be careful

but, i updated from homemenu, i let the update download in sleep mode, it worked perfectly for me

Well I cut and copy that from gateway because Canadacdn said he updated his sysnand, but looks like he edited his post so maybe he didn't update sys and was in emu the whole time.
