Could someone test this on an 8.x 3DS? You don't need an out of region game to test this. Just put the launcher.dat on your SD, insert any game, and go through the steps of launching this(dlplay, then opening browser to GWs hax page). If your game starts up, then it works.

So its the webkit exploit that's broken then? Doesn't look like there was anything special about it the webkit exploit in terms of getting this to work, especially since the actual code execution is a result of an entirely different exploit. Could another exploit be used in conjunction with this to get it running on a New 3DS? Doesn't seem impossible in theory.

Some people just don't like change...GW people seem the most pissy about this ATM.
Fact is...The Sky3ds will play anything you throw at it...Will behave as a retail cart.

-will play all current 3ds roms (plug and play).
-Up to 31 Roms per MicroSD-card.
-save backup/restore.
-play online without issue.
-eshop without issue.
-region free, if you have some brains.
-retail cart dumping, if you have some brains.
-NAND backup/restore.
-homebrew loading.

The Cart kicks ass...what else could you wait for?

No it works with multiple roms, you can mix different regio roms, the only problem you will have, when switching the game to a game of another regio, there will be no game icon, so you don't know what game it is.
You can press the button and watch the led blinking to know when it has loaded the next rom before starting the exploit.

Well, that just doesn't work for me. I have, let's say, Layton vs Ace Attorney (proper region) and next to it One Piece Super Grand Battle JP region: When the JP game is switched I press the red button 5 secs in order to keep the game selected, but when I start the exploit a white box appears and don't let me play it.

I found out the issue: when the exploit started, the Sky3DS switched the game and that crashed it all. When everything was pitch black, I pressed again the red button 5 seconds and everything worked great.
I don't understand anything that the game says in japanese, but is freaking awesome DDDDDDDDD

I just love love love this release!
I have been toying around with this and was able to play various games from every single region all on one card! (Blue Buton btw)
Im seriously thinking about upgrading my imported AUS 3DS to 9.4 so that I can access the Eshop, updates, and everything else that I have been foolishly denying myself by waiting
for Gateway to pass gas my way. And, just allow myself to fully enjoy my NN3DS like intended. GW fanboyism on here is both sick and pathetic. I swear I do not understand the devotion.
GW had these people waiting since Thanksgiving 2014 for the "ULTRA" which doesnt even work on the N3DS here in January 2015. Even though the video from way back in November demonstrates it
working, in means absolutely AIR and VAPOR to those who are not able to use it right now. So, while you fanboys continue to desperately hug, "soon", the rest of us will enjoy the evolution of being able to play games from ALL regions, Latest Firmware, PLUG AND PLAY, and wait for it.......ESHOP on our Sky3ds/QQ3DS cards.

As for me personally, I fully support Nintendo and Game Developers. So, all of these cards are just for 'tinkering' purposes only.
I have bought 95%+ titles on the eshop already. For me NOT to update my main machine would be a detriment to myself considering I paid for more than 80 titles so far.
My personal plan is to purchase the US Monster Hunter Edition XL when it arrives in February. It will be updated and fully legit. My Aus 3DS (smaller unit) will be reserved for
testing purposes. Best of both worlds and a great idea for anybody else who wants to do this.

So, you GW guys keep waitin and hatin while we move with technology towards the future.

What's most amazing to me is how you guys turned this into some sort of 'card war'.
When in truth, MORE OPTIONS ARE BETTER FOR YOU. Not less.....dumb wars are stupid.

And, that's all I want to say about that.

I actually 'liked' your comment because even when I was writing my post I was thinking exactly that.
BUT, I did pay $80+ for this unused Gateway card set. So, that is the real reason why I havent updated my aussie machine. I dont want to see my $80 investment completely wasted.

As for the Skycard, an update would only benefit that machine because I have several games that needed a patched update(Devil Survivors Overclocked, etc.) and 9.4 on the aussie would let me do this.
It is Gateway that is holding me back, not Sky3DS. Sky3ds works out of the box on everything on the latest firmware. Meanwhile, GW is "soon".

How to do if the N3DS is not supported by Regionthree?
You will still have to wait for Gateway to release the N3DS update to
use your Sky Cart with Regionthree.

So the waiting time will be the same. The result will be different.
For N3DS Gateway is the first choice. If Regionthree for N3DS comes
before the Gateway update ... ok - then this will be another story.

Actually you should be a Gateway fanboy.... a big one.
Because of them you can use Regionthree.
