Well the game is still crashing so yes it still needs working, maybe a widescreen patch would be implemented eventually, I reverted back to Dios Mios for this game anyway!

Really now? It didn't crash when I tested it, then again I may not have played it for long enough. Did it take a while before it crashed?

I don't want make this thread about GC adapter working with Wii games but could the code that makes it work in Nintendont be intergrated into wii Loaders so it would be recognised?

Do not post about this anymore. This is a Nintendont thread, not an add Wii U adapter support to USB loaders/Wii games thread.

Just made a cool addition to the nintendont loader, I cant promise that it will work at all times of course.
-added some code which will create pre-formatted memory cards for the memcard emu on file creation, that means you dont need to format it manually ingame anymore

Man I love you, I swear I wanted to ask about the possibility to do that a few days since real memory card support was added but I forgot, I hope it works, thank you!

First of all, thanks for the great tutorial. However, I am having trouble with the please disable AHBProt. I have looked at the FAQ on the page and everything seems fine. From this screenshot, can you tell me what's wrong? Thanks for everything. http://imgur.com/UqfxI1H My HBC is version 1.0.8 and IOS58 so I don't think it's that.

I would suggest adding this link
https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendont.349258/page-873#post-5144450
to the very top of the OP and direct any noob to the OP when they asked for help with no details.
The last few pages were full of those!

How many is any? 1,2,10 or 100? I would say list all of them if its less than 10. And if its more than 10, at least list some of them.

SD/USB Pen/USB HDD make, model, size, format & cluster size : Format - FAT32, Cluster Size - 32KB/32768, Size - 36GB
36G? Its an odd size and are you sure you have HDD that small or you created a partition that small? If it is partitioned, can you give more details on how is you HDD partitioned

ISO 1:1/compressed : compressed ISO
If you have followed this thread, you should know what to expect: try 1:1 ISO

Controller used if Native off : Off
LOL. Great, you don't use any controller at all? Thats your problem! You should at least have an HID/BT controller and set the controller settings accordingly.

He probably uses a USB pen, i don't think it is an odd size for a USB pen. Still, it is known that USB pens have the worst compatibility.
On the ISO part i have to agree, if you compress them wrong they will not work.

I have never seen 36G drives or may be I never cared to use pen drives. My mind is set to 8,16,32,64....

So! Using Nintendont ver. 2.251 on my black Wii model 1 to check if enemies would die already in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, and I'm afraid, it seems, the game won't even load, it stays on Black Screen.

Any one else with that problem?

Using a Cruzer Edge pendrive, same one I use to play F-Zero GX and Wind Waker.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
