I have three copies of Cubic Ninja that I am going to give away to GBATemp members.

Every time a product becomes an unexpectedly high-demand item, there's always got to be that one jerk who buys up a bunch of whatever it is, then tries to flip it online for a massive profit.

I doubt that's what smealum had in mind when he decided to release his exploit.

To counterbalance that negative karma, I want to run in the opposite direction with it. Rather than asking for money, I am asking for awesome.

If you want a free copy mailed to you, it's easy. Do something kind for someone else, without benefit to yourself. Tell us about it here.

On Friday, we'll take a vote, and the three users that you decide will get Cubic Ninja for nothing.

I've already received a few offers from people who wanted to buy one from me, or to trade me for something else. I respectfully decline any offers of goods or cash. I'm looking for good deeds.

If you would prefer to simply nominate someone for their contributions to the scene, that's fine, too; that was one of the most popular suggestions on the original thread where I suggested this idea in the first place.

I think there's room for both. Not going to pass up any kindness that I can participate in creating.

Plus, it's the GBATemp community, itself, who picks the people to receive the games. That's a lot of balls to lick. Ladyballs, too.

If i could get a free copy i would give it to one of my friend, said friend has been following the scene like me and i'm the reason he follows it, same thing happened when i first hacked his Wii.

I don´t know if this is the best story or if is a bit off-topic, but let me write down this tale.
I work as a teacher in a small rural port city called Huasco, in Chile. In this community there is not much thing to entertainment and the drugs and alcohol are in every corner. Well this is when story start. During my classes ,i met an adolescent which i call "A". This guy was expelled from the high school two years in a row, never ended the first year and of course, never had the support of his parents.
One day "A" come to us (my wife and i) , and ask us if we can help his to keep study, because his family not care a thing for him . As amazing as the story sound, we agree to help him to study and cared with all the things he needed (money, food, books, etc) and today is finished his first year in high school. we plan to continue help him until he can care himself.
Maybe is not the biggest story but i feel that i should be written.
That´s all folks.

This is kinda vague and people could lie 'bout it but those with moral know it better to be honest about it anyway.

May the best three win the copies and make great use of them (not for reselling that is!).

That was just the suggestion. This is the one that I would request people to actually submit people or awesome on. I linked back to this topic from that one.

The majority I have seen so far want them to go to people who will use them for further homebrew development.

Does that make more sense than to just arbitrarily give them to people you guys vote on?

If it leads to all of us having access to more content on our 3DS systems, then that's one thing. I kind of wanted to inspire other people to get out and DO something, but, I will cede to the community on this one.

What do you guys think? Deeds or devs?

If I got my hands on a copy, I would pass it around my group of friends until everyone had smea's hack. Afterward, I would go and try to 100% the game. After THAT, I would donate it to someone else...
