Never
Not completely true. Some emulators have hacks that allow them to take advantage of multiple cores for faster emulation. Also, I don't think New 3DS will help in any way, more cores doesn't mean faster... more mhz helps emulators, not more cores
if you already own a Vita
Depends on the country. I bought my 3DS cheaper than people ask here for a used PSP. Plus, official emulator on PSP sucks, no DualShock support? Why? And try playing any games that require frequent usage of all 4 shoulder buttons when two of them are mapped to analog stick. And 3DS with CPP or New 3DS will be able to fully utilize all of it.you could buy a nowadays ass cheap PSP
Not to sound like a dick, but if you own a Vita (with a TN-V ofc)
And if I DON'T own a Vita?

I am sorry, I've completly mixed up the posts. I thought Spade was the OP because he answered in such a way
Nevermind then with the Vita thing.
But the statement with the PSP emulator I don't quite understand. You don't need 4 shoulder buttons when playing PSP games on the vita. The PSP only had 2 as well. I think you are mixing up things here as well
