hi guys figured id post a lil review here since i cant on playstation network lol guess they blocked reviews for a while since they again released something disapointing ...anyways here it is first of all networks are all down so cant review the online stuff yet but for the rest heres what i got from it,1 you cant paint the cars the colors u want you only have ugly decalish choices 2 you dont buy cars to get them in garage you unlock them 3 no *fixing* cars 4graphics are sorta from 1-2 years ago(makes me think of DIRT) 5 altough they said they perfected the game while pushing the release imo the driving in this still is far from perfect .....anyways all this to say if your interested in buying the game try the ps+ version first coz its probably not what you expect it to be

Shame it's getting average reviews but I feel it's a backlash for going back on it meant to being free originally. Also a lot gutted for season pass nonsense.
I'm a not a big racing fan but still looking forward to trying it out later today!

PS+ edition has been delayed due to 'server issues.'

This is amazingly crap considering PSN is now a chargeable service.

It's still free like Xbox LIVE Silver but to play online the customer's gotta pay, so it's not all that bad for those who just want to play offline games.

F2P games are free to play online (or that's what I read months ago) so not all games have a fee to play against others online.

It's disgusting really when looking at the overall picture of what PSN is compared to Xbox Live! If Destiny can handle 4 million beta players at once then surely Sony should have had their shit together for some racing game, especially when they said all networks and servers would be improved when they announced the sub.

Oh well, back to Mordor!

yeah but psn wasnt the problem here coz playstation store worked fine it was the game servers themselves that i couldnt conect to but anyways illl try tonight and see and give you guys an update of the disapointing game

ok well i still cant connect to their servers so...i guess more destiny for me tonight..ill try again tomorrow

How are the graphics from 1-2 years ago... it's the most photorealistic console driving game ever made imo, so though the gameplay might not be great, the graphics are amazing. gonna try the PS+ version to decide if I want the full version.

I don't think the issue is with the actual PSN service after all as other have said other PSN services have been working fine, I think the actual issue is with the driveclub devs themselves. I get the feeling that they are an amateurish studio and pretty nooby and are in way over their heads. I mean driveclub was supposed to be free on launch and a year later what do we get? A broken retail version and no free gimped plus version, this all screams of development hell to me. I know the devs behind the game have been around a while as a studio but I seriously get the feeling that they went in way over their heads with the scope of this project and simply ended up buckling under the pressure of it,

i totally agree with ya on that p1ngpong but for the graphics fossda the vids you see online and the gameplay itself are 2 different things trust me youll see what i mean when you try the game anyways just giving the people a headsup before they do buy the game to wait and try the ps+version before so they dont end up like me and spend the $ to get the game asap and be totally disapointed in the end

Realistic racing sim? nope. Not for the Bortz at all. Come on EA, at least shine on me one last time and re-release Burnout Revenge HD-xtreme or something.

Either way, it is a shame about this game. It was supposed to be a launch title I believe. And now, day of delivery, its being held out of the reaches of us PS+ member. Again, not that I care, but I would have to agree, this is on the devs, not Sony's online.
