Hacking Wii U to be getting 5.1.0 update next Tuesday.............in Japan.

Next Tuesday Japan will receive a new firmware update to allow SUICA payments on the eShop via NFC on the GamePad. Question is will we get the same update next week? http://www.nintendo.co.jp/campaign/butamedal/index.html

Nintendo remember last time you guys pumped out a new update every single time something happened in the Homebrew community? You ended up just annoying your customers and taking up too much space.
How about spacing out these updates and making them worth a damn, instead of just trying to crush homebrew devs.

They only say so. First real hack was done with help of OtherOS Linux. And when this hack appeared orher groups chimed in.

don't count on it. get those servers blocked (or just do what i did and unplug the lan cable) and keep your auto standby off boys because this will be the one you don't want!

I'm on 4.0.3 . Will I still be able to dodge updates by entering vWii ?
I tried blocking URL but it doesn't work and blocking ips is hard for me.

vwii won't trigger an update these updates are all for the wiiu and don't effect vwii.

also a warning for those using quick boot that has enabled standby and the update will install without you knowing. you need to disable standby in the system settings!

I don't really care about hacking my Wii U and besides it, I honestly fucking hate to wait for the system to download and then install an update.

All I want is to play the games I have purchased god dammit! I don't want to watch it install, if for that, then I'd boot my PS3.

How is that possible?

It'd be a lot better if they made the menus run a lot faster, like, Settings takes a couple of seconds to load whereas in Xbox 360 it's instant.
