Gems Collection also had working audio for the emulated games like Sonic CD?
No, but now we know one thing: "-always skip SITransfer if its a normal gc game." probably fixed it so it might not be that far off to get the other games working with audio as well.

Sonic CD is not emulated, only Vectorman 1/2 the GameGear games and the timed demos are emulated. And unlike Sonic the Fighters and Sonic R; Sonic CD needs the main save file(the settings one) loaded for it to boot meaning that you can't rebuild the iso to launch this game directly.
The only way to get those three games working is by adding support for loading dols within the game, something DM never did which makes it even harder to get here. DM required a disc inserted for it to work.

So the main problem is still loading an additional .dol file from the game.
The same thing happens with the Zelda games right?

Actually I never had any problems with Wii games like those.
I might check for a third time just in case. XD
I don't remember if I played with my Wii or the Wii U... Let me check.
And you won't see any problems launching those games because dol loading was fixed for USB loaders Wii side a long time ago.

I'm trying to use Nintendont on a Wii and I'm facing some trouble.
For every game I try to start the Wii shuts down almost immediately. The last thing I see on the screen is that it goes to number 0 ES Init. I read that ES Init has a rare chance of crashing but apparently it crashes every time on my Wii. I tried different games that should work according to the compatibility list, but it's the same for all of them. I tried putting font_ansi.bin and/or IPL.bin in the root of my SD and/or USB drive, still the same error occurs. I tried loading games from SD or USB (both FAT32 with 32k/cluster), doesn't change anything either. Whatever I do, I can always see all the games that should be there on the drives but all of them crash this way.
I'm using Nintendont v1.92 right now, but it was the same with previous versions. Nintendont shows my Firmware as 58.24.32 and I'm trying to use a regular Gamecube controller.
Does anyone have a clue what could cause this?

Have you tried playing without forcing it? I always leave the settings as auto and never had a problem with other games.

Are you using composite cables? When I played a PAL Wii game on a composite CRT TV, it went black and white, but through component cables on my LCD it was full color.

Got around to testing
Simpsons Hit n Run NTSC-U: Cutscenes play at 2x speed. Formatted the memory card just fine. Currently playing atm. Will update when am done.

Edit: Crashed when I was playing on 1.92 when driving.

May want to look into this. When a game crashes, my ps3 controller will continue to vibrate until I unplug it even when it's off. Personal vibrator much?

Are you working in Nintendont? great!, you tell me when you upload that version, because I had to unplug my pendrive form the Wii U everyday to download the new relases xD.
It would be possible to add a option (like CFG USB Loader) to update the app? it would be great :) !

No, I'm not a developer for this project. Like others said, I test a lot of different builds with about 20 games (19 US, 1 PAL). I wouldn't really know where to begin helping. I only know C/C++, not PowerPC assembly, nor anything about the Gamecube SDK/"OS".

Edit: I did notice Pokémon Colosseum no longer responds to my GC controller in 1.92. However, this is the only regression I've noticed amongst my games.

After more tests on my several Wii(s)+vWii with different loader versions
(v1.80/89/90/91/92), I have few findings.

1. v1.89/90/91/92 screw up some HID controllers compatibility.

For example, MKDD worked no problem for v1.89~92 if I used a GC controller
. But I got "black screen" if I changed to Wii u pro controller+Mayflash adapter.
This should explain some people said yesterday v1.89/90 broke some games but
some people said there was no problem for them. Also some people found some
HID controllers didn't work today when they tested v1.90~92.

2. SSBM v1.02 works for v1.90/91 with a GC controller but doesn't work
(black screen) for v1.92 with all controllers. (I tested 3 different HID controllers and a GC controller)

PS. I misunderstood that this kind of "weird" situation was something to do
with Hollywood chip (or BootMii/Boot2). But the root cause should be "controller"
compatibility.

I did a quick test for MKDD and SSBM v1.02 with v1.93.

Both of them worked no problem if I used a GC controller.

However,I got "black screen" (I noticed my USB HD stop working)
for both of them if I changed to Wii u pro controller+Mayflash adapter.

This is the same result as I highlighted earlier -> the HID controllers
compatibility was screwed up since v1.89. (some HID controllers may work
but some will fail.)
